The body on this car is incredible largely because it only has 42,702 original miles on it, all the sheet-metal on this car is original with the exception of the hood, the floor pans and trunk pan are immaculate, the interior is completely original, door panels, seats, dash, steering wheel and rear section of carpet are the original born with interior, only the front half of carpet was replaced, interior has some interesting options including: remote mirror, working map light on rear view mirror and courtesy light package, car still has two piece brake rotors and original front spiral shocks, paint job is 5 years old and held up very well, car is laser straight, gaps are excellent and doors open and close perfectly, bumpers are the original bumpers and include bumper guards and most of the weather stripping and felts are still original, the engine is not the matcing numbers motor but is a date code correct 1969 396 L78 Big Block with GM aluminum heads. The motor has less than 500 miles since being rebuilt, during rebuild pistons were replaced and converted valve train to solid roller but motor still has that factory muscle car sound. This motor runs and drives great and pulls hard, The M-20 Transmiission has the original reverse back drive that still functions and the rear end is the factory 331 12 bolt with posi traction. Cars so original and pure like this are very hard to find. This one had the original engine replaced with an aluminum head L78 396 / 375 HP engine.
