1976 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

OK.. Going to try this again. Please don't make offers that you are not going to follow thru with, listing a car takes time and money, thanks. I picked up this car as part of a trade deal on my 1996 Grand Sport. Was thinking that I would drop in a LS motor, but car is way to nice to do that.
This beautiful 1976 Corvette has been well cared for 54,000 miles and four owners (two in the same family). This car has won various awards and concours events and in 2007 was awarded Bloomington Gold Survivor status (@52,000 miles). This is a nicely optioned car that includes the original owner's manual. This is not the average Corvette on the market.
This car looks fantastic with code 70 Flame Orange paint and correct aluminum wheels. The T-Tops are in great shape, remove and install easily, and include the factory storage bags as well. The trim and moldings are all in good shape as are all the plastic lenses. The grill and bumper pads are also in great shape. Note: Front and rear bumper covers were repainted, but are original to the car. All the weatherstriping is in good shape, some portions having been replaced in 2012. Note: This car has a period correct aftermarket alarm, installed when new, the audio all keyswitch is visible on drivers side front fender.
This Corvette is powered by the base L48 350ci engine, which starts and runs very well, the transmission is the M38 TH350 3-speed Automatic. Rear end houses the stock (and original) 3.08 gears with Positraction. Everything appears to be in original condition and operates smoothly. The car is also equipped with power steering as well as power bakes, which stop straight and true, making for a great driving car. I just drove it 200 miles round trip to the Spring Jefferson car show and it was a pleasure to drive and received several nice comments from show goers. Note: Exhaust was recently replaced with a true (Corvette) dual system which helps erase the power difference between an L48 and L82. The original (usable) full exhaust is included in the sale.
The interior is in great condition for a 40yr old automobile. The original black leather seats are about as nice as you will find as original seats in a C3. The wood grain is very nice also. The N37 Tilt/Telescoping wheel provides comfortable driving as well as making it a lot easier to get in and out of the car. All the gauges work as they should, including the clock keeps perfect time. The power windows, wipers, lights, rear window de-foggier, and A/C all function as well.
Car comes with a book of receipts and original parts that have been replaced. There is a binder documentation including the Bloomington Gold paperwork, concours judging sheets, and laminated build sheet. Included is also a custom fit car cover (very nice fleece) front nose bra and a frames airbrush painting of the car.
There are a lot of worn out mid-70s Corvettes out there, this is not one of those. As the Bloomington Gold Certificate says, "It has survived the perils, abuse, fads, and restorations common to most Corvettes." At this price, you won't find a nicer example on a quality C3 Corvette.
I have tried to describe this my car the best I can, I am not a C3 Corvette expert.Winning bidder to arrange and cover the costs of shipping. I will help load the car if needed. All sales final, I reserve the right to terminate listing at anytime prior to reserve being met.
I am also open to a part trade with cash in my direction. Mustang, Camaro, etc... must be standard transmission.
