1965 Chevrolet Corvair Additional Info:

This is by far the nicest condition of any Corvair I've ever owned! Interior is nearly perfect, Paint and body are original and in very good condition, and the car runs and drives very nicely! Everything works including the AC. I bought itfrom a gentleman in the sandhills of central Nebraskawhere it had been sitting for decades in a good garage. Mileage shows 57k and although I can't guarantee it I am sure it is correct as I received receipts for work done in the past which supports the validity of the odometer. Tires are good and heater works. When I got it home, I had to redo the carburetors of course and the fuel tank. New battery. We took the tank off and high pressure washed the inside of it and added a filter to the pickup pipe and so far its working good. If I was going to keep it I would probably buy a new tank from Clarks eventually. Selling as I am 72 and own way too many cars and am loosing some of my inside storage!
