This 1987 El Camino has received a complete restoration and is a beautiful example of Chevy's hybrid sedan/pick-up. (A notebook of receipts that document the restoration process and a CarFax report are included in the sale.) The body was professionally repainted in 2-stage Deep Burgundy. Visual accents include a custom raised hood, dual sport mirrors, full bed liner and Sentury 70-series radials mounted on 15x8" Chevy rally wheels with centers/rings. (Note: The original hood is included with the sale.) Inside, the restored tan cloth interior is in excellent condition and is fully equipped with factory air conditioning, AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth stereo, tinted windows, new wood-grained dash w/Dakota analogue gauge package and alloy/wood-grain tilt wheel. Horsepower is provided by a GM HO crate motor (350ci/330hp) that was installed about 16,000 miles ago. It is equipped with a Bowtie aluminum intake, Edelbrock AVS-2 4V carburetor, tube headers and free flowing stainless exhaust. Cooling is managed by a Griffin aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. The small-block is backed by a GM 700-R4 automatic w/OD. Power steering was standard equipment and power-assisted front discs/rear drums provide plenty of stopping power. The rear end was totally rebuilt with an Eaton Truetrac differential and Motive Performance street gears. This is a stunning El Camino that is going to make its new owner very proud.
