1968 Chevrolet Chevelle -- Additional Info:

Only 578 miles since a total body off the frame, meticulous restoration and I do mean meticulous! Complete specs are included from paint formula, to belt #s, what spark plugs to use and more. Restored to retain it's original classic look with great improvements in it's function.
EXTERIOR: Stunning. Has a custom mixed metallic red paint that looks like a piece of candy. Paint formula will be included. The clear coat is polished out like a wet mirror. The SS stripe is originally a decal, not on this car- it's painted on! The body is perfect- laser straight, the panels fit like a new Mercedes. Doors and trunk click shut. Every single piece of chrome and trim is brand new and fits the car right. Has original style antenna. The stainless trim around the windshield is polished like chrome. All of the glass is new. All the weatherstrips and window seals are new. Door jambs are detailed- glossy paint, new sill plates. Brand new black convertible top, it's frame has been restored, new weatherstripping, new pump and hydraulic rams. New 15 inch rally wheels and trim. New Wide Oval tires look great on this car.
INTERIOR: It's gorgeous against the red paint. Every single piece of it is new. The seats have been rebuilt, all new firm cushions, new upholstery fits tight as a drum. Reupholstered headrests, new chrome trim and seat backs. New armrests, door panels, window cranks, handles, ashtrays, carpet, center console. Even new GM seatbelts. Completely new dash- the bezels, lenses, gauges, knobs, vents etc. New SS gauges and unique roller tachometer in the middle. The clock is working. Upgraded heat and air with electronic slide controls. Factory Am-Fm radio was rebuilt with modern guts and has auxiliary plug. All new wiring. Upgraded LED interior lights.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: ATK high performance engines crate motor. It's a 489 stroker making 583 hp/609 pounds of torque.
Specs- 4 bolt mains, Scat crank, forged rods, forged pistons, Howard's hydraulic cam, Edelbrock aluminum E-street heads, roller rockers, double roller timing chain. Even more detailed specs available. On top it has Quick Fuel 780 carb built for this motor, Edelbrock intake, MSD street fire ignition.
Brand new Classic Auto Air heat and air system. Every component is new- wiper motor, alternator, wiring harness, brackets, pulleys, clutch fan, power steering pump, water pump, fuel pump etc. It's very highly detailed- correct hose clamps, GM hoses, Delco battery topper, spring clamp battery cables. Upgraded aluminum radiator. New cadmium plated brake booster, new master and stainless lines. Every inch is smooth paint or chrome.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's even imaculate in the trunk, yes mmaculate. The metal is perfectly clean. Very neatly applied aqua and gray spatter paint with clear finish. 5th matching wheel for a spare. Brand new rally wheel and Wide Oval tire. New correct jack assembly. New mat, well liner, decals and weatherstrip. The paint in the jamb and the bottom of the trunk is just as glossy as the outside.
UNDERSIDE: The bottom of this car is highly detailed. I would eat off the bottom but wouldn't want to get the car dirty! Every inch of metal is clean with a satin black finish. Every component is new. Steering and suspension is 100% rebuilt or new. Has F-41 suspension which includes sway bars and boxed control arms. Brand new Autogear M-22 muncie trans, McLeod Street Pro clutch, Hurst competition Plus shifter and Lakewood bell housing. New Strange 12 bolt rear end with 3.55 posi gears. Has a custom stainless Pypes exhaust system with x-pipe. High torque starter. Brake system is entirely new. Has disc in front, e-brake assembly is complete. New fuel system-tank, sending unit, straps, lines. New springs, shocks, u-joints, every last nut and bolt is new!
