I have owned this car for about 35 years. I have beenslowly building it over the last couple of years. It contains only the very best of parts. The car runs and drives very well, starts instantly, idles nicely (850 rpm 16" hg) brakes are great, does not overheat, and everything works. And it's FAST. The entire interior is covered with hush mat under the new upholstery and carpet so it cruises along nicely although it is fairly loud outside. The paint is ok but not perfect, some chips and sags (about a ten footer) the windshield has 2 stone chips. A great driver. The body, frame, and interior are stock 57 chevy. Chassis mods include, tubular frontsuspension, 11.4" disc brakes, dual power brake mastercylinder, CCP 500steering box (14 to 1 ratio), mds 15" steering wheel, Helwig front stabilizer bar, Helwig rear stabilizer bar ( included-installed but removed due to rough ride) new 9" Ford rear 3.50 ratio with traction lock and 11" disc brakes, Caltrans traction bars,17x7 front and 17x8 rear American Racing wheels with Michelin pilot supersport tires. 215x17 front and 245x17 rear,driveshaft safety strap. The power train: Block 1974 C20 truck 4 bolt 350 chev. bore 4.040 stroke 3.75 (385 cu in) compression 10.4 to 1 Scatcomp crank, Scat forged rods, Probe forged pistons, all ARP bolts. AFR 180 "Eliminator" heads, Edelbrock airgap rpm intake and 650 cfm carb, Lunati "voodoo" hydraulic roller cam and roller lifters, comp cam roller rockers, Aluminumhighflow water pump, aluminumradiator, MSD 6A ignition anddist, corvette 2 1/2 inch rams hornexhaust manifolds, 2 1/2"exhaust, mufflers, and tailpipes, has complete "vintage air" heater and airconditioning, Muncie 4 spd transmission, Hurst comp plus shifter, new fuel tank and pump.The engine drives a fiberglas fanbehind the radiatorand anelectric pusher fan comes onanytime the air is on orthe temp goes above 170.
My heath and age (81) prevents me from working on cars anymore so Iwill pass this wonderful car along tosomeone who will enjoy it. The car has a sun tach and a classicstereo radio. Included (in the trunk) is the spare tire (orirginal 1957) and jack, severalchevy special tools, an extra carb (holley 750cfm), an autoflex plate balanced to this engine, and some extra misc trim parts, ashop manual, all the receipts and the rear bar. The car has no dents and no rust (a picture of the driver floor rust panel replacement is included).I will accept cash or checks but checks must clear before delivery.
