1968 Chevrolet Nova Yenko Replica, Big Block 4-Speed, Trades Accepted Additional Info:

All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. I can assist with financing and transport as needed. This is how you have fun with a 1968 Nova. Start with a straight rust-free car from Kentucky. Give it a show quality paint job with Yenko accents along with a nice interior. Drop in a stout big block and Muncie 4-speed. Add a monster 9” rear end, subframe connectors, and a few other performance upgrades. Voila! This car is all that and more.This... Chevy II Nova was an original 6-cylinder car sold new on March 19, 1968 to a woman in Manchester, KY. The car includes the original owners manual and maintenance book with Protect-O-Plate. There is also a variety of original Kentucky inspection reports and service receipts dating to 1968. Neat stuff! The car remained in solid condition and made a great candidate for some serious cosmetic and performance upgrades. The car was stripped down and given a high quality repaint in Dahlia Blue Metallic. The car also received white Yenko accents and 427 badges which really makes the car stand out. The body is excellent and all metal remains original except for the hood. Be sure to see the underside pictures as well. All chrome and moldings are in great condition, as are the grille and lenses. The painted 15” steel wheels with hub caps wear BF Goodrich tires (225 front, 275 rear). While the badges say 427, the engine is actually a robust 468 cubic inch setup that sounds amazing. This is a full roller motor with a steel crankshaft, custom ground roller camshaft, and rectangular port heads. Induction is through an Edelbrock single plane intake manifold with a Holley 950cfm carb on top. There is also an MSD ignition and ceramic coated headers. Power is routed through a Muncie 4-speed transmission followed by a very beefy Ford 9” rear housing a Detroit Locker differential. This Nova is also equipped with power front disc brakes and power steering, making it easy for anyone to drive. It also has subframe connectors and Southside Machine traction bars; good stuff to have with a powerful big block like this one.The interior is done in black vinyl. It has new front bucket seats, door panels, carpet, headliner, package tray, and an aftermarket steering wheel. There are two AutoMeter gauges under the dash for temperature and oil pressure, along with a column mounted tachometer. Note the cueball knob on the floor shifter. Everything works including the horn, vents, heater/defroster, and AM/FM/CD sound system. The 1968 Nova really brought the model to the forefront. No longer was it just an offshoot of the low-performance Chevy II. Better styling and big block power put it right in the thick of the muscle car wars. This example really captures the look, sound, and feel of that era in a high quality fashion.
