1953 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3 Window Additional Info:

This 1953 Chevrolet 3100 pickup offers iconic looks with all the upgrades you want â€" including bright paint, a beautiful real wood bed, leather interior, and a powerful V8. Chevy's Advance Design pickups are one of the most desirable classic trucks around. They took the time to give them some of the coolest curves of post-war America, and so they have earned iconic status. But it's more than just history that attracts you to this one. Burgundy paint... has a nice modern shine that makes you proud to take this out on a sunny day, and it has the kind of glow that tells everyone there has been a solid investment in this pickup. As a true American classic, it has terrific brightwork. You can tell there was a lot care taken with the bumpers, mirror, bezels, badging, and that five-bar grille that looks like an Art Deco skyscraper. The shine is enhanced further with a sporty set of high-polish Cragar SS wheels. But what you'll probably love the most is the truck bed. After all, someone took the time to get the lumber as glossy as the paint. Inside is more evidence of a proper investment. This still retains the classic old-school look with the artful dash and airy cabin, but there are also some terrific well-integrated upgrades. For example, you still get the classic bench seat, but now it has comfortable bolstering and is finished in a supple leather. We especially like the matching door panels with the burgundy Chevy bow tie stitched inside. While the steering wheel still has the big classic look, and unmistakable grippy feel, there is now a full set of Dolphin readouts just beyond it. The upgraded V8 looks great in the tidy and fresh engine bay. The 350 cubic-inch V8 is not only larger than anything they ever offered in these 3100s, but it has also been upgraded with performance goodies like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. It makes for a great power upgrade, and you everyone really get to hear it thanks to the long and straight dual exhaust pipes that empty out the side. The three-speed automatic transmission, wide modern tires, and power brakes w/discs up front give you an upgraded driving experience, but this one still never loses that classic feeling that made you fall in love in the first place. A great-looking and powerful Chevy 3100 that's been restored correctly is always in demand. So don't miss your chance. Call now!
