1966 Chevrolet C-10 Short Stepside, Custom Cab, Big Rear Window Additional Info:

Buy It Now price at $27,500 is exactly 50% of the costs for a professional restoration. This pickup is a Restomod that was actually over restored to standards well above stock. It is a classic Hot Rod, Show Truck pickup that gets attention everywhere it goes. It is virtually flawless cosmetically and mechanically. Regular class winner at car shows.

Buyer will receive a large box (see pics) of $55,000 in actual restoration receipts invested on an 8 year body off full restoration completed by professionals. Only 2,100 miles driven since extensive First Class restoration.

Excellent attention to details and NO RUST anywhere on this pickup.

Look up current NADA book value for this Short Stepside 66 and you will see high retail at $57,090 and average retail at $29,370 (This truck is not average nor is it a daily driver. It is a Show Truck, but can and should be driven). Current auctions support values in excess of $50k for this pickup in restored condition. I've set my reserve at the BELOW AVERAGE RETAIL PRICE for a quick sale. I'm 78 and have owned and loved this truck for 45 years, but now MUST SELL!

Options include…Short wheelbase short Step-side, big rear window, custom cab! Note: Most Step-side rear fenders had a spare cut-out, but many collectors prefer the full rear fenders.

Upgrades include power steering, disc brakes in front, a 300+HP 350 SBC balanced crate engine with a 700R4 four speed (overdrive) automatic transmission and 3:73 12-bolt Posi differential. Has a receiver hitch for towing, but the trailer wiring is not completed. It has never towed since restored (but it would look really cool mated to a similar vintage RV trailer).Everything on this truck is either new or rebuilt to or above original specs. In reality, this pickup is probably better than new. Door latches are the greatly improved bear-claw's from LMC. See pic.
All sheet metal and frame were either sandblasted or acid dipped and ALL RUST areas (few) were replaced with new steel, then primed, before being painted in original 1966 "Light Blue' GM/Chevrolet 507 color code. It is a very shiny, high gloss quality paint job.

In the bed, you will find beautiful red oak with a clear sealer and stainless-steel trim strips. You will find the paint and body work straight and flawless.

Front and rear bumpers plus the grille are show quality triple chrome plated.

A brand new deluxe 22 circuit wiring harness from LMC ($800) was installed and all lights and etc. are new. It even has courtesy lights under the dash.
It comes with 2.5" dual exhaust with stainless steel "Magnaflow' lifetime mufflers. Exhaust is not loud, but it has a good rich throaty sound that tells you this is not a stock engine.
The spare is mounted in the stock position under the new oak bed.

NO flaws on this pickup either cosmetically or mechanically. It is kept garaged and comes with a custom car cover (new in box).

No A/C, but you can purchase the complete Vintage Air A/C conversion kit specifically for this pickup on eBay for about $1,200 and there are many shops authorized to install Vintage Air in most areas. The new 22 circuit wiring harness willaccommodateA/C.

This truck is located in Meridian, Idaho 83646 (for transport quotes). Willing to meet a prospective buyer at the Boise, Idaho airport, if you want to fly in and drive home.

Please don't confuse or compare this to the many Chevy pickups that have only a shiny new paint job, a rebuilt engine and some new tires. This is all rebuilt from top to bottom, no expense spared. If you want cheap, go online and you'll find lots of them. If you want quality, maybe this pickup is for you.

Put your business logo on it and ask your accountant about deducting advertising or promotional costs. One building contractor in our area drives a pickup like this to all his jobs and he has a picture of it on his business cards and yard signs. His classic pickup has help him create a unique brand. "Old Fashioned Quality"

Some people don't like the original color and prefer a metallic, candy apple color. Some don't like the aluminum modular wheels. There are many great vintage 6 lug wheel options. At my Buy It Now price there is plenty of upside to invest in new paint and wheels, if you want to change them
