1970 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible w. Accessory Hardtop Additional Info:

I bought the car from the original owner in August of 1979 (still have the receipt) and titled it in March 1980. I have driven the car fewer than 10,000 miles since taking ownership.
It has the original 300 hp 350 engine with the original Quadrajet carburetor. The engine runs well and does not use oil.

Factory ACPower windowsOriginal leather seats in good condition

The original 4-speed transmission is still factory installed. It has never been abused, still has the original clutch, and has good synchronizers. Shifter and linkage are tight.

The original starter was replaced with a gear reduction.
Trailing arm bushings, emergency brake, and front upper control arm bushings were replaced in the early 80s after purchase of the car.
The emergency brake is fully functional, so is the emergency brake console light.

The vacuum controlled windshield wiper doors and vacuum contolled headlights are fully functional. The vacuum controls and actuator were replaced in the 90s.
The speedometer, tachometer, and all instruments on the instrument panel, with the exception of the clock, are functional and all console lights are functional as well.

The gas tank and fuel system are clean.
The original door panels have some cracking.
The top was replaced in the late 80s and is still in good condition.
I have the original hardtop that came with the car when new. It has been in storage and has never been on the car since I have owned it.
The original shift plate is pitted.
The car does not have the original radio.
The brake calibers were replaced in the 80s and still function well, with minimal fluid loss when not run over extended periods of time. The brake system was upgraded to silicon brake fluid in the 80s.
The chrome on the right rear bumper is blistering. The die-cast chrome (on door handles, door panels, parking light assembly, etc.) shows some pitting.
The car can be driven as is, but will be needing some brake work.

It was repainted in the 1980s with original lacquer paint and has the typical issues of Corvette fiber glass.
The car still draws lots of attention as is and would be the perfect candidate for a frame-up restoration.
