Seven Hills Motorcars is proud to offer this beautiful 1992 Z28 Camaro Convertible in excellent condition. This Z28 looks fantastic, runs well, and is an excellent driver. The Dark Teal (37) over Gray interior (82) with black (41T) soft-top is an absolutely stunning and beautiful color combination that looks spectacular on the car. It is also the correct and original color scheme as verified by the codes on the data sticker, which is pictured below. This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Z28 Camaro convertible that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come as the market on the third generation F-bodies (Firebird and Camaro) is strong right now and on the rise, especially for rare examples like this car. The low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title, pictured in this ad, showing the mileage as "Actual." Please peruse all of the photos, the extensive list of option codes, video, and information to get a true sense of how nice, clean, and original this Camaro really is.

A copy of the AutoCheck report for this car is shown in the photos. Please note that it is totally clean, shows no accident history, and verifies the low mileage as original.

This Z28 Camaro Convertible is quite rare. The Z28 Convertible saw the lowest production numbers of any body style Camaro for 1992 with only 1,254 cars made. We purchased this example from a gentleman in Florida with a large classic car collection. Being from the south, this Camaro has never been exposed to salt, winter driving, or harsh conditions. It is exceptionally clean as on can see in the photos, including the underside; the car is totally solid with great lines.

As a side note, this Chevrolet Camaro is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our classics come from owners who expect their car to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Camaro, just give us a call.

The Dark Teal exterior is in excellent driver condition. As one can see in the photos the finish has a terrific gloss, deep shine, and smooth finish. Both doors open and shut nicely. The convertible top looks almost brand new with no holes, splits, or wear. The rear window is perfectly clear with no yellowing or fogginess. The N96 aluminum wheels and center caps are in nice condition with no curb rash. The Goodyear GA tires have plenty of tread and are correctly sized 235/55R16. There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. There may be some very tiny rock chips or blemishes that were too small to show up in the pictures, but nothing that is really noticeably from about five or ten feet away. As one can see in the many photos of the underside of the car, it is very clean underneath. The frame is totally solid with no rust around the rear spring mount. We have included specific photos of the rear spring mounts, rockers, lower quarter panels, and the areas most prone to rust to show how nice this car looks.

The Gray interior in this Camaro is in outstanding condition. The seats are in excellent shape and look as good in person as they do in the photos with no rips or split seams. The seat is not overly worn in the typical area on the bolster where the driver gets in and out. The carpet is also in great condition with no holes or tears. This includes the rear carpet, which is often neglected. The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are crystal clear. The door panels are in excellent shape and the door pulls are solid and intact. The original radio works well and most importantly the dash has never been cut or modified for an aftermarket installation. The steering wheel does show some age at the top, but as one can see in the photos it is not very noticeable. The jack and jack handle are still with the car. The original space saver spare is also still with the car along with the original inflator bottle. This Camaro has never been smoked in; there are no burns marks and no aroma of cigarettes.

Camaro interiors from this era are not known to wear well, and the excellent condition of this original interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attention this car has received throughout its life.

This Z28 Camaro seems to be in very good mechanical condition. Everything on the car works and it is ready to be driven and enjoyed. The car starts right away every time, idles smooth, and runs well. It drives great and feels nice on the road and at highway speeds. In the video in this ad one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no vibrations or strange noises and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The transmission shifts well through the power band. There is no blue smoke when starting or driving the car. This Camaro has plenty of power and is quite fast. Also, the engine compartment is beautifully clean, detailed, and correct as one can see in the photos.

The horn works as do all the exterior lights, interior lights, trunk light, wipers, windshield washers, power windows, power locks, power seat in all 6 directions, both power mirrors in all directions, and even key buzzer. All of the gauges work. The blower for the heater and a/c works on all speeds. The a/c also works and blows cold. One can observe the a/c compressor clicking on and engaging properly in the video. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with the top down on a beautiful day.

Also, for any third generation Camaro you may look at, be sure to verify that all the dash warning lights are working correctly. The lights should go on when the key is turned on as a confirmation that they are working, and then quickly go off when the car is started. A great number of Camaros from this era have had warning light bulbs removed to mask other problems. As one can observe in the video the dash warning lights on this car operates just as it should, going on with the car as a check and then going off when the engine is started.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 1992 Z28 Camaro Convertible is in magnificent driver condition and very rare being only one of 1,254 made.. The very low miles, the beautiful original color combination, the rarity, and the excellent overall condition make this car especially important and hard to duplicate. It is very hard to find a Firebird or Camaro from this era that is still in great original condition with low mileage as most were used, abused, or modified. This Camaro always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It is apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by its previous owners. The prices of third generation GM "F-Body" cars have increased considerably over the past several years. They are secure and wise investments for a collector. Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson stars of the future. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.

Thank you for looking and please do not hesitate to email or call with any questions.
