1970 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:
I bought this truck locally. From what I understand it has been sitting since 1995. It has what I believe to be killer Patina. So I did a clear over the whole truck. I am no professional, I did it in my garage. But I get lots of compliments and thumbs up wherever I go.I am pleasantly surprised how well it runs and drives after sitting for so long. It starts right up and shifts exellent.I replaced the carburetor and put in a HEI distributor in it. I replaced the master cylinder and front wheel cylinders.I have kept the old distributor and carburetor if someone wants to keep it original. The truck has minimum rust for its age. Rockers and kick panels are solid. Floors are fairly solid, there is some small weak spots on the drivers floor. That may need attention one day. But no holes. Passenger side seems very solid. Cab corners and firewall is good. Cab support braces are good on drivers side and have a little rust on passenger side. Passenger rear being the worse.A little rust underneath the battery tray on the core support, but not terrible.I have only put about 100 miles on it since I owned it. But it seems very reliable. The heater and all the lights work. Windows go up and down super nice. The wipers are not working, and it needs a muffler and exhaust to make it a good driver.See the truck and hear it run on YouTube athttps://youtu.be/sEr0q2mHTX0.
