This is a 90% Original 5 Window 3100 . Most of it 's time was spent on a Missouri Farm and was brought to the East coast approximately 10 years ago . It has been Mechanically sorted out with a complete 12 volt wiring system including alternator, battery, starter and all electrical components . All lights, gauges and horn are working . Seat Belts Installed for Safety !The truck starts with any drag or hesitation .The brake system was redone with new master cylinde, brake line, hose, drums and shoes replaced .New Shocks . New Gas tank, fuel lines and fuel pump .
The engine runs well and has been rebuilt along the way . It is a 235 CI 6 cylinder with 3837004 GM 8 block number and 3836848 GM 7 head number . The block serial number is F1213A . Block date L 11 8.I believe this engine is a 1957/ 1958 as indicated by these numbers . Original Valve Cover included along with other extra parts.
It has a 4 speed Transmission with the Low ( Stump Puller ) 1 st gear .The rear is either 4.56 or 4.11 from what I can estimate .
It runs well with no smoke and shifts easily and drives 55 mph on the highway with ease . Speedometer Works !
The interior is excellent with new Upholstered OEM sea, Headliner & door panels . A new floor mat and Firewall cover installed . New heater core installed and heat works . All original glass is excellent and windows work with ease .
The Body is original metal with a few dings and bruises but looks great and very solid . No rot on this truck except on running board supports which is not terrible and easily remedied . The undercarriage is very good and solid .The truck is painted in flat black and very easily touched up .
New pine wood bed as OEM was when new .New Good Year Vintage White wall tires including the Spare !
