1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 150/120 FULLY RESTORED 57' AUTOMATIC, 327 CID Additional Info:

1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR HARD TOP COUPESHOW QUALITY BLACK BEAUTY!!!SOLID CAR!! OVER 80 FULL SIZE PICTURES!! DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS CREAM PUFF!! This stunning black beauty is one of the most highly admired American classics of the 1950's. By far the 1957 Chevy is one of the most recognizable cars to date. It's the one every car enthusiast wants. Great news! This one is ready to show and win a lot of awards. The current owner is parting ways... after 16 years of ownership to make room for his next passion on four wheels. He only drove this 57' Chevy on perfect sunny warm rain free days. He bought it from a close friend who owned for 15 years before that and he drove it only on perfect days. The restoration was completed nearly 35 years ago but you would never know it to look at it. This car is solid. No rot and never had it. This car was a frame off restoration of a rust free shell. The underside of this car is also just as solid and rust free. The chrome and stainless trim still have the mirror shine and all are pit free. The custom interior is in fantastic condition. The door panels match the seats and continue into the trunk. Carpet is perfect. The story as told to us (onlineautoauctions) that this was believed to be an original 57' Fuel Injected car, but as you know, documenting this to be fact is nearly impossible. You could have quite a find here but then again I can not state that 100%. The one thing I can say 100% is that this a is a gorgeous and rock solid classic. Now lets go under the hood! The engine is a 327 cubic inch motor that was balanced and blue printed when the car was restored. The last 2 owners do not have documentation on the spec's of the motor but we can tell you is that it runs excellent. Topped off by a super rare Rochester Fuel Injection unit, (which alone is worth big money). The car does feature a solid lifter cam and runs super strong. No smoke on start up, no strange noises. Just the beautiful sound of solid lifters. This car has a Chrome Ford 9" rear end. Transmission is a tried and true 2 speed power glide. Once you review the 80+ pictures below you will see the attention to detail and addition of chrome everywhere! Notice the details on the exhaust, as they're no clamps. Everything was welded. No leaks! All panels fit well. Gaps are fine. The car has the classic look of old school but upgraded with new school 15" Cragar wheels. Wider in the rear than in the front. Tires have less than 1,000 miles on them! Front power cross drilled disc brakes have been added. Now the only issues we could find were a couple of cosmetic issues as you will see in the pictures so please look close. First is on the drivers side rear quarter at bottom by door opening. The second on the passenger side bottom near the rocker molding. Both being minor. A brush of paint touch-up was done. Keep in mind the restoration was done almost 35 years ago. It has stood up very very well! This is an investment grade quality car. A true classic and anyone would be proud to call it their own! There many summer nights ahead of you to cruise in this Black Beauty. Runs and looks beautiful. Sounds fantastic. You know you've always wanted one.
