If you want a factory original truck, kind I love, this is drive it home now. I would not hesitate to take it anywhere (little hard on gas) LOL Cruises at 70 all day long

1971 chevy Cheyenne long wheel base 402 with 400 trans

History the truck was purchased from the original owner who had order it from the factory. the truck came from Fresno Ca the reason the hood paint is faded truck sat in car port the faced west. This truck is all original with the exception of headers(high quality) replaced cracked factory exhaust manifold and ac which I will explain in enginedescription. I have used the truck for personal run around car show such.

Now for the good stuff NO RUST EVER!!!!!

BODY the truck has been very well maintained. No rockers replaced or any thing like that all factory original. Only ;body damage is where the brown spot in the photo was back in to years ago. no damage or filler any where else. This is a very straight truck. the bed is straight and NO RUST the paint is per well rubbed of from hauling hay bales. Twin factory mirrors need paint job unless you like the patinanever waxed by meready to paint or clear coathave miss bed chrome strip will tape inside bed for shipping

INTERIOR New seat cover in cloth, new dash pad, door panels, sun visorsand roof panel are original and in excellent condition. carpet is new with a full vinyl floor mat covering it. New dash bezel with new factory style tachometer, all gauges work, the windshield washer even works! The radio is am, there is a Kenwood cd play in side a chrome fronted Kleenex holder, fold down front, Paint is excellent in the cab.NO doorsCUT or dash Had tan shoulder harness seat belts installed, new door seals, needs window seals, factory tint glass

ENGINE factory installed 402 big block (396 bored 30over at factory) engine numbers say it is a 350hpwith a 400 trans, run very smooth uses no oil does not smoke when you start it up has new starter and flex plate, center hanger bearing new. AC hasbeen converted to 134anew Sanderson compressor,evaporator and Old Air condenser conversion so the original ac heat unit could been used to save the stock fee. Blows 43 degrees keeps thing cool! All hoses have been replaced. new battery, new fan clutch

FRAME No rust Front end new upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, the following are all new front disk, bearings, seals, calipers, pads, vacuum booster, mater cylinder rear shoes, cylindersand brake hoses. New power steering unit the one the connects to the steering column spare is under rear end has receiver hitch. has LEAF spring NO coils, front torsion bar was called a heavy half. front and back bumpers have dents

Tires has new tires (1000 miles on them) mounted on 85 chevy 8 inch rally rims with 3 inch beauty rims

There is lots of little things that have been replaced

As you can tell I have really enjoyed this truck this is the best one I have owned in the last 30 years and I have had several but it need to have a new home.

I have put a lot in it all work done by a local machinic.
