JUST COMPLETED A THREE YEAR FULL RESTORATION ON THIS CAR. EVERY PART WAS CHANGED OR RESTORED BACK TO FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS. NOS PARTS USED WHENEVER AND WHEREVER WAS POSSIBLE. The only alterations to the interior that are away from factory are the mahogany steering wheel (I have the original one for the car) and the factory "look" radio (I have the original to the car).
The change in body style signaled many changes for Corvette, but in 1968 you could still get the coveted 427 Tri-Power. The L71came with almost 470 ft-lbs of torque and a close ratio transmission made the corvette one of the last great corvettes for decades to come.
This corvette represents a "factory correct" car. It left the factory with international blue exterior, a black leather interior and a black convertible top. The engine and transmission are matching number components that the factory installed. The International Blue, while not the factory finish, is a PERFECT representation and presents perfectly.
The interior continues this theme with no modern upgrades leaving only a factory correct Corvette. The seats show no wear (PERFECT) as does the carpet. The convertible top is in PERFECT condition as well.
This Corvette is becoming one of the most sought after and desirable cars for collectors!! Collectors, investors and most of all drivers will enjoy this FANTASTIC piece of Corvette history.
LOW LOW RESERVE..THIS CAR WILL SELL BY THE AUCTIONS END!!!
