- Includes entire ownership history over entire lift of car including Original Certificate of Title, riginal Invoice from Boardman Chevrolet in Valley of Nebraska, nd a letter from Chevy Corporate from 1967 congratulating the original owner of purchase. Includes nearly every purchase order, ertificate of title, nsurance card, nd other items are included and been recorded to help trace the originality/ownership history of the car.

- Equipped from factory with 409cu/490hp motor with 4 speed manual transmission. All drive-train parts of car are original and includes all matching numbers. Purchased new from Boardman Chevrolet in 1962 by Michael Kojedki; the original Belair, f which less than 200 were produced, as delivered on June 27, 962. This “409” won and comes with several NHRA trophies that it won during this time period. According to 2nd owner Roger Sortino, t won its class every single week, as raced with all factory equipment (including radio and heater), nd motor was never once disassembled for blueprinting or balancing. In late 1963, oger Sortino sold it back to the original owner Mike Kojedki who traded it in a year later back to Boardman Chevrolet.

- Roger then bought the car back again in 1990 and owned it for several years before selling it to 409 guru and renowned early 60’s Chevy restorer Ed Pogue in 2003. Pogue is a very well regarded restorer of ’58-’65 Chevrolet’s as well as a noted drag racer who claims many 1962 “409” trophies to his name. Pogue restored the 1962 Bel Air Sport Coupe to its excellent condition where Roger Sortino purchased the car back again.
