1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air Additional Info:

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air four door sedan. It is a clean original, rust-free, low mileage southern Idaho car. It has been well maintained thru the years, garaged and not driven in the winter. The rocker panels, floors, frame, etc are all rust free and in great condition. The original undercoating is still intact and has protected the car all of these years. There is one small spot that had chipped off and the original black paint underneath is flawless. It has had one respray in it's lifetime and painted the original Neptune Green/Shoreline Beige. The only cosmetic damage other than normal small chips or scratches is one small ding in the hood from the air cleaner stud. All of the lights and gauges operate normally as they should except for the drivers side low beam element is burned out. The original numbers matching 265 V8 runs strong with no issues and the original Powerglide automatic transmission also shifts smooth and has no leaks. I believe the odometer has not rolled over. Two oil change service stickers are on the door jamb one dated 1972 and the other in 1984. The mileage was 33k and 74k. Within the last 500 miles/12 months the oil and filter has been changed with Lucas Classic 10w30 oil & Napa Gold filter, new AC Delco spark plugs, new Napa wires, distributor cap, rotor, points and condenser, remanufactured AC Delco generator, rebuilt carburetor and new fuel filter, new brake master cylinder and front wheel cylinders, new Monroe shocks front & rear, four new Coker wide whitewall tires installed in 2016. It is a very clean original car and turns heads wherever it goes. The only issues that will need future attention is the original windshield has quite a few rock chips and cosmetically should be replaced. The exhaust heat riser spring is getting weak and will rattle slightly in the closed position until the car has ran for several minutes and the riser starts to open. Included with the car is a 1955 Chevrolet shop manual, owners handbook, V8 engine handbook supplement, some extra Danchuk light gaskets, battery hold down, extra Napa Gold oil filter canister and a couple bottles of lead substitute which I have always used in the fuel. It may or may not have hardened valve seals so I ran the lead substitute as a precaution. If you are looking for a turn-key car this is it. I drive it almost every weekend and have never had any issues with it.
