1987 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

1987 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Silverado Additional Info:

Farm fresh 1987 Chevy 1/2 ton, 105000 miles, still injected, 350/700. 2 owner truck that has been parked at least 8 years. I have only done what it needed to get it running to test drive and accurately list for sale. Runs/shifts great, drives/stops good. New oil & filter, water pump, plugs, wires, cap & rotor, 4 new tires (P235/75R15), washed & vacuumed. I repaired (soldered & heat skrinked) a few wires that the mice got to, at least a couple more that need repair to horn. Other than a few wires mice got the wiring is in great shape and unmolested. Besides a cleanable air filter and a muffler entire pick up seems to be factory/unmolested. Runs on right side fuel tank but not the left, selector valve is switching but pump isn't running and I haven't inspected to see if it's wiring or just needs new pump. Power windows work but are slow, needs cleaning and fresh grease. Power locks work. A/C complete and intact but not working. Factory AM/FM, works when it wants to. Amazingly enough, has fixed column (NO TILT). I've driven it to town a few times and the only things I could list that would keep me from driving it further would be....1. Needs to be tagged. 2. Belts. 3. Radiator, it's not leaking but looks rough. 4. Needs a pinion seal. All the glass/windows are good. Seat is good and even adjusts easily but needs to be reupholstered as the sun baked the cover away, I put the cheap cover on it to protect the seat foam. Obviously it has some surface rust but I've seen no cancer. This truck would need very little to be a daily driver. In my opinion it's a perfect restoration platform because of the good shape it's already in and 1987 is the only year that was produced in a 1/2 ton with fuel injection in this body style. It has a couple of original glove box documents, a maintenance manual and a warranty booklet. It has ignition keys and door keys and a clear title. Delivery MAY be possible if we can agree on a fee, otherwise it will be local pick up.
