1968 Chevrolet Camaro Additional Info:

I believe the car had a bumble bee nose stripe because there is no evidence of the hockey stick strip on the original passenger door. Thank God nobody could get the glovebox door open because it still has the original AH tire code sticker that should verify it also came with the SS option. Unfortunately somebody got the SS horn emblem from the steering wheel. I hunted everywhere for it when I picked up the car. This was a non-muncie car because of the speedometer cablelocation through the firewall but is a standard shift car. It came with the M-13 3 speed, it still has the original small block crossmember. The best I can tell it came with a non-gage center console. It still has the original standard black bucket seats. The car still has the original dual exhaust hangers all in place. It has the original 12 bolt open rear end with correct BM0116G2 stamping. The car did not come with a rear spoiler. Has power steering. It obviously has the RS backup lights and both red tail light lenses. It is missing the left front rotor assembly but has the Fenton steel mag wheels that were last put on the car. The tires can also help determine the time it has been off the road. It still has the original voltage regulator and windshield washer. It also still has the emergency brake cables. There is no doubt it has been sitting for a long time. Again judge for yourself but if you want to restore a true RS/SS Camaro this would be worth the time. I was planning to try and get the car verified before doing away with all these original parts to help identify its options. Plan on it needing a lot of sheet metal. I believe you could use the top and in my opinion the rear frame rails are still in very good condition but that is up to the person doing the restoration. I will be happy to answer questions or takemore pictures if needed. I prefer cash at pick up. The best days to pick up the car are Friday through Sunday. The state of Georgia does not title a car this age. The only thing I can give you is a bill of sale. I will work with whatever the buyer needs.

Just wanted to clarify that none of the interior would be worth using. The seat springs are all rusted very badly and every piece is in very poor condition. The rear seats had never been removed and the springs were not worth saving. I did not include this in the original write up because as seen in photos it is all in very poor condition.
