1985 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Silverado Additional Info:

A very nice truck!
I bought it as a side project and ended up replacing the engine pretty quickly. It has a brand new engine with 2,000 (roughly) miles on it since replacement. I used a high quality Lucas Oil Hi-Zinc break in oil and replaced in 100, 500, 1,000 intervals. The truck runs absolutely great. I'm selling it because I don't have the room to keep it or time and energy to make it perfect, plain and simple. It's garage kept and I'd like to put the daily driver in the garage instead. It also has a new Mishimoto aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. All of the components to the engine are brand new (water pump, alternator, starter, fuel pump, belts, pulleys, spark plug wires, carburetor, intake, etc). The only thing that wasn't replaced is the A/C compressor - it locked up and broke the belt last week, and I had already planned to sell it, so I'm just going to leave it.
I'll list the things that I'd do if I still had the time and energy to make it perfect..

- Firewall painted/Matched with body blue

- - AC Compressor

- - Paint starting to chip on passenger side door white, looks to be something bumped into it, but not dented. A couple of paint ‘runs’ on the blue in some hard to paint areas on the cab.

- - Proper brackets for radiator custom made

- - New washer/coolant overflow tanks

- - The carpet doesn’t look bad at all, but to be show quality you can tell it’s old

- - Weather stripping with the driver side smokers window, weather stripping for truck doors, windows.

- - The clock doesn’t work. The oil pressure gauge is something I messed with, and it worked after putting in the new engine, but didn’t work after I took it to a mechanic

- - Head unit is old and doesn’t work

- - New grill and turn signals

- - Paint and coat front and rear differentials

- - Cruise Control needs fixed. It’s missing a part that linked to the carburetor

- - Front and rear differentials need to be cleaned up and coated

Truck is sold AS IS, with no warranty. Clean ND title. $500 deposit due at the end of auction via paypal, balance due at pickup. With the expectation that the truck is picked up within 7 days from auction ending. I'll be moving from this area at the end of February, so it will need to be gone before then at the latest... I reserve the right to end the auction early, as I'm selling it locally too.
