1968 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:

Up for sale is a very nice restored classic custom 1968 Chevy C10 Step side pick up truck.

It has a really nice custom two tone paint job and some pinstripe lettering on the tail gate and glove box.

I bought this truck in an online auction for my 78 year old dad for Christmas. Thinking he would like it and want to take it out and do shows with it. He really liked it for a few weeks but then said he really wasn't as jazzed out aboutit and isn't up to all the running around and walking that went along with the first truck meet we went to so we are looking to sell it.

We had talked about changing the pin striping on the tailgate and going with a 'root beer float' theme. But his heart just isn't in it and as much as I would like to keep it, I don't have the garage or driveway space for it.

The previous owner had passed away and obviously spent a lot of time and $ in getting this truck to where it is now. He entered it in truck shows and the truck came with a dozen or so trophies. Winning bidder can have all of those too if they want them along with the custom sign that the previous owner had. You can see it in one of the posted pictures.

Since we've had it, we puta new alternator and new battery in the truck.

the engine is a 350.

The truck has a B&M ratcheting shifter, which after using youtube to figure out how it works is actually pretty neat. The sound system works and the interior looks like it was custom done.

The bed cover is really nice and opens and closes with ease with these little shocks.

The bed itself inside is wooden panel and looks like new.

Truck also comes with a custom truck cover that is shaped for a truck. there is only one way to put it on.

Not sure how many actual realmiles are on it because the odometer hasn't moved since we got it and the speedo seems to be off by a few miles per hour.

Was told by the auction house that the previous owner had recently had the engine rebuilt.

Unfortunately we did not get any maintenance records but the truck runs strong and is a lot of fun to drive.

It gets lots of looks and everyone wants to stop and talk about it. just wish we knew more about to tell them.

If you want any more pics of special angles or want any more information about the truck, please send a message and I will get you what you want to see or hear (video).

If you live in the Houston area, you are more than welcome to come check it out.

The passenger door is a little tricky to close. you have to close it pretty hard. think the latch needs to be replaced. But other than that, we haven't found any other complaints.

This is your opportunity get a custom classic already restored and ready to the classic truck shows without having to spend the time and effort to get it 'show ready'.

I know most of the fun in it is starting from scratch and doing it all yourself, but not everyone has the time, money, or knowledge to do that.

So if you are looking for a beautiful classic truck without having to, this is for you!

Hit me up with any questions and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

I will also be listing this locally and online and if it sells there before this auction is over I will remove the listing....and vice versa.
