1971 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:

Frame-off restored 1971 C10 short bed fleetside pickup. Originally the truck is from FL (chassis is clean and free of rust). Purchased in southeast KY in 2010 and had been garage kept since. Equipped with 400 SB, turbo 350 automatic transmission, power brakes, and steering. The truck has been sitting for a number of years and needs minor engine/fuel system work to run.Truckhas been customized with oak bed, shaved tailgate, filled bed caps, trim removal, rear frame rail gas tank as well as LED lights and tubular biller grill. I'm considering selling because of the lack of time and space to finish the truck up to make it right.
QUESTIONS ANSWERED:Q: What work still needs to be done?
A:The truck has not been started in about 4 years, but it has been garage kept since I purchased it in 2010. The old fuel would need to be siphoned out and the carburetor will likely need a complete overhaul/rebuild. The gas tank is at the rear frame rail and can be dropped rather easily if need be. The existing valve covers are too tall and are rubbing the firewall, those will need to be replaced. Exhaust will need torunfrom the collector back todesiredlocations. Plug wires are in good shape, but I would thoroughly inspect any rubber components inthe enginebay. The truck does have all new weatherstripping seals and cab mounts. Mechanical linkages and kick down will need adjustment. The interior will need door panels, roof upholstery, seat, and misc. trim items. I would also recommend having the dash pad and visors reupholstered to match new beige carpeting and floor mats. This is by no means anall-inclusivelist, but it gives you an idea on the scope.
Q:What has been done to the engine?
A:It has the flow tech ceramic coated headers, roller rockers, an Edelbrock performer rpm intake manifold, and a Holley double pumper carburetor (650 CFMI believe). I also recall it having a mild cam and have been told that it has a shift kit, although I haven't visually confirmed it.
