Up for auction is a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Street Show Car/Drag Car. This car was built back in the mid 90's by a renowned and professional car builder to promote his business, SuperPro Performance Chassis in New York. Working on it mostly on nights and weekends, reserving time during the week for his customers work turned it in to being a six year long build. For over 20 years now, the car is almost exactly as it was when he completed the very high end build in 1998, even down to the magnificent paint finish and detailed graphics that still looks amazing with only a few very minor imperfections which have been documented in the photos.

No expense was spared and not a single detail overlooked with only the top name brand components being purchased and installed through out the entire project with an approximate $150,000 price tag, just in the car and parts alone, not including any of his labor and shop overhead. He was originally building the car to drag race, but it turned out so nice that he decided to go the Show Car route instead. It has won the International Show Car Association's, Eastern Division Championship among many other awards at a numerous amount of shows. Not only hitting the cover of Super Chevy Magazine in November of 1999, (which comes with the car) it was also the Feature Car in that same magazine at another time. Another interesting fact about the car is Johnny Lightning Classic Gold Collections made a miniature die cast of this car. (5 brand new, still in the pack comes with the car). When the company released the limited edition miniature, it sold an amazing number of 15,000 within the first two weeks alone!

The car has a full round tube Pro Mod chassis. It has an all steel body and lightweight liftoff fiberglass hood and trunk lid. With the removal of several bolts, and disconnection of a wiring harness, the all steel front end is also removable to give full access to the massive power plant that powers this beast. Hidden beneath the hood is a Dart 632, with Big Chief aluminum heads, Kryptonite billet crankshaft, Oliver billetrods, JE pistons, Lunati roller camshaft, Jesel shaft mounted rocker arms, Jesel beltdrive, Kook headers, Barry Grant carburetor, dry sump oil system, vacuum pump system, direct injection nitrous system (never used), power windows and much more. All of these components, once assembled would manage to squeeze out an impressive 980 horsepower at only 10.6 to 1 Compression Ratio! Yes, that's right ...No race fuel needed in this ride, makes it easy on the wallet and more desirable to drive with being able to run it on pump gas.

Well the car wouldn't be complete without the drivetrain. The transmission is aLenco ST1200 5 Speed which has been fully polished to a mirror finish. Followed up by a Ford 9 inch housing filled with the following goodies to move it on down the road. 3.89 Gears with a Spool, 40 spline axles, all narrowed down to make room for the huge 33 x 19.5's that are neatly tucked under the rear quarter panels. The wheels are Billet Specialties - Street Lite Series, 15 x15 DoubleBeadlock on the rear, 15 x 5 on the front.

There is way more to say about this car, therefore I could go on, and on about how amazing the car is. It is as detailed underneath as it is on the outside.Everything is either painted, polished, or chrome plated. It would cost an estimated $275,000 to $300,000 to duplicate the build of a car just like this. If youhave any questions about the car, please feel free to message me and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability, because all of information in the listing is from the best of my knowledge, and from information gathered from the car builder.
