1978 Chevrolet C-10 Chevy Sport Additional Info:

Hi everyone,
I have for sale a 1978 Chevy c10 Scottsdale 10 Chevy Sport truck. The truck currently has $9000 worth of parts which $6000 of it is in the Engine and Transmission. I'll start off by saying the truck has a 406 small block chevy built to crank out around 500-600 Hp. A built 700R4 to handle the peppy smallblock with a 10" 3000 stall converter. I previously had this combo in another truck with 3.73 gears and it would burn the tires into 3rd gear and cruise down the highway at 2000 RPM around 60-65 MPH. The rearend gears are the stock gears for the truck by the way. The Motor only has approximately 800 miles on it. Here is a list of items done to the truck.

The body is in relatively great shape. The driver door will need to be worked over a little more. The doors are not the original doors and are from a donor truck. All Door pins were replaced and a lot of time was spent to align the doors properly and make them open and close with ease. I suspect the car will need to be block sanded, worked over once more, primed, and block sanded again to be ready for paint. Original color was black with red stripes down the side and strips on the outside edges of the hood. It currently has the original interior color. the truck came stock without a headliner and other trim pieces. The truck is near completion and will need to be wired back up along with a fuel pump installed and electric fans for the radiator. I will be going to look at the truck this weekend and if I missed anything, I will make sure to note it on here ASAP. (Please take note that I will be keeping the currently air cleaner in the picture). This is a great chance at getting a nice project that needs very little to be finished up.Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions.
