1955 Chevrolet 210 Wagon Additional Info:

This 1955 Chevrolet 210 Handyman Wagon is a rare kin to the legendary Nomad, but when you take this one out on the weekends, the upgraded V8, great chrome, and A/C interior will make people instantly recognize this two-door Chevy has a personality all of its own. With less than 30k produced, this 210 Handyman is quite a bit rarer than some coveted '55 Chevys like the Bel Air hardtop and Bel Air convertible. So, while the overall appearance of this one still pays tribute to its more workman roots, you also can't deny it's iconic heritage. In fact, speaking of the premium Bel Air, this has all the great aircraft-inspired brightwork on the hood and running down the body. And of course, there's no mistaking the stylized chrome bumpers at both ends. All of this Bel Air style, even the grille, was part of the midgrade 210 package, and this one looks great without losing the spirit that makes it a 60+ year-old classic. And more than just a great vintage appearance, this has a little extra flair with those classic Cragar wheels with whitewalls. Inside is a nicely upgraded interior that still keeps its vintage charm. The two rows of seats have been nicely re-covered in a comfortable cloth. And the classic dual-cowl dash now even houses modern amenities like an AM/FM/CD stereo and cold R134a air condition. So you can carry plenty of family and friends, and they all stay comfortable over the long haul, too. In fact, because this has the large rear cargo area of a standard wagon, you can carry all their stuff, too. So this is the classic that's perfect for everything from road trips to tailgating. But even when it's just you going for a solo cruise, this Chevy is great. The grippy three-spoke sports steering wheel, auxiliary gauges, and B&M shifter let you know this is a driver's machine. The '55 Chevy launched the legendary small block, so we love to see a version of it updated for the best power. This 350 cubic-inch V8 looks nice with the bright air topper and ribbed valve covers. Plus, it's upgraded for performance with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, MSD ignition, and headers that feed the rumbling dual exhaust. But there's much more to this Chevy than just the right V8 muscle. It has been built to be a great anytime/anywhere cruiser with upgrades like a new McGaughy power steering box, front disc brakes, and a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission w/highway-friendly overdrive. This is an honest and authentic classic two-door wagon. It has the spirit of the Nomad, the ethics of a Handyman, and all the upgrades you want. Don't let this slip away, call today!
