1985 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Silverado Additional Info:

Offered for sale is a stunning example of the sought after Chevy K10 Silverado Long Bed 4x4, known as the “square body," with only 101,000 original miles. She is equipped with the original 305 V8 engine, automatic transmission with overdrive and shift on the fly four wheel drive. Runs and drives great. She sports a fresh paint job (about 2 years old) from a top notch local paint shop here in Charlottesville and sits on a 4-inch lift, fitted with American Racing wheels with new 33”x12” Wild Country Radial tires. Interior is in excellent original condition with no dash cracks and only minimal wear and tear given her age. Comes with newer ARE camper shell in matching black, with tinted windows, in excellent condition, and original steel rally wheels with 33"x12" Firestone Destination A/T tires in near new condition. The bed is in excellent condition and sports a spray on Rhino Liner. Clean under carriage with only minimal superficial surface rust in a few spots, as seen in photos. Service records back to 2005 and original owner’s manual with hand written oil service notes from 1985-1998. A/C recently converted to R134, but could use a charge to blow colder. She fires right up on the first crank every time and the classic V8 exhaust note is thing of beauty. Transmission is strong and gets smoother as the truck warms up. VA State inspection good through February 2019. Will ship to out of town buyers at buyer's expense.

In August, Hagerty listed Chevy C/K10's of this vintage as the #1 hottest collector car of Summer 2018 (https://www.hagerty.com/articles-videos/articles/2018/08/01/hottest-collector-cars-of-summer-2018). With prices sky rocketing, this is your chance to own an exceptional example before they become totally unaffordable.

The only notable blemishes on this truck are as follows:

1. Small vertical tear in seat back (as seen in photos)

2. Top corner of front left fender is scuffed (as seen in photos)

Vehicle History:This vehicle was recently acquired locally from an older gentleman who had owned it for 26 years, after purchasing it from the original owner in 1992. The truck has clearly been very well cared for over the years and the mileage history seems to support the seller’s claim that this truck was never used as a primary daily driver or work truck, with less than 50k miles put on over the past 26 years. The truck has been maintained by one of the most reputable local shops here in Charlottesville for 20+ years and they spoke very highly of this truck when I went over it with them extensively before purchasing. Carfax indicates an accident reported in 2002, but there are no apparent signs of damage, which supports the previous owner’s statement that no damage was done.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions about this truck. I want you to know exactly what you are bidding on. This one of the nicest looking unrestored Chevy K10 long beds that you will find outside of a showroom. Combined with its low mileage and ownership history, this truck certainly has collector appeal and gets a lot of attention when driving around town. Happy bidding.
