1989 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

Selling my '89 Corvette. I am going to try to give a very good description of the car. Please read the entire description and look through the all of the pictures.
I have owned this car since 2007. Up until about a year ago, I drove this car almost everyday. I bought a new car, went to school, and now I am moving and sadly this Corvette cannot come with me.
So, this car has been sitting for about a year. I've driven it here and there to keep it from sitting still too long but this has proven to be a chore for me.
Good Things:- All original which makes a perfect restoration, hot rod project car, or spare parts car.- Engine runs strong with relatively low miles.- Transmission shifts through all 6 gears and reverse with out any problem.- Well maintained and well loved over the years.
Problems:- I would say all the fluids should be changed, especially the engine oil, manual trans fluid, and rear diff fluid.- There is a whine coming from the transmission that was not so noticeable before it sat. It sounds to me like the through-out bearing on the clutch because when the clutch pedal is stepped on to disengage the clutch, the noise vanishes.- I am pretty sure there are very worn u-joints throughout the drive line because when you start moving from a dead stop, you will feel and hear a clunk coming from the rear end. It was not so bad, but after sitting for so long, the problem has seem to have gotten worse. (I have replacements that are included as with all spare parts).- The digital dash display back light works on and off.- The paint and interior are not mint. Since everything is original, the paint is fading in some spots and the interior is letting go in a few places.- The rear panel on the driver side is cracked. I bought the car with this crack already there. It was poorly, poorly fixed but it never bothered me so I left it. Years later, right before I bought a new car, I was rear ended causing the poorly fixed fiberglass to re-break. It looks like an easy fix for somebody who knows what they are doing.
This car is in good running condition but needs some love before it can be enjoyed again.
I have a box full of parts that are included. The parts are shown in the pictures (coming soon).

Feel free to ask me any questions or request more pictures.
Thanks for looking. Happy bidding!
