1971 Chevrolet Nova Additional Info:

NO RESERVE! YOU ARE BIDDING TO BUY THE CAR!
This is a nice, unrestored, survivor-type car!One family owned since new! Grandma Jones purchased this car on 6-21-1971 From Vern Trider Chevrolet in Anaheim California. The car was registered in California until 1996. It was eventually passed on to Mrs. Jone's son, and then Grandson. The car made its way to Oklahoma and Texas since then.Along the way, the engine was replaced with a mild 350, 4 barrel carbed, HEI distributor, dual exhaust power train. The original transmission was rebuilt at the same time. The car was also repainted in the original Mulsanne blue (metallic with clear coat) .The interior is all original right down to the carpet! As such, it does show some wear that would be expected for a car this age .Headliner is in really great shape, back seat looks like new, all the door seals and window seals are still soft, The doors operate just like they did when new, windows roll up/down smoothly! All the dash" idiot " lights appear to be working, even the "key in the ignition" warning buzzer still works!Real gauges were installed under the dash to supplement the "idiot lights", great oil pressure, and water temp! The trunk is super solid and still has the original "splatter paint" in it, and the original spare tire and jack are in place.Floor pans and rocker panels look great! Even the battery tray is solid. This car is very straight for its age, but not perfect, and not a show car. It has some surface scratches that could probably be buffed out, and maybe a couple of minor dings, but this car looks and sounds great going down the road! This car is in "driver" status, It has current tags good till 2019. The car has made recent trips from Texas to Oklahoma with no problems. Steering is tight for an old car, not a new corvette! The car has Power steering, power brakes, tinted glass, deluxe chrome package. 350 v-8 and 350 transmission.$900 worth of B.F. Goodrich tires were installed 11/15/2017 and $900 worth of new brakes were installed 1/24/2018. A new Holley carburetor was just installed this year as well. The engine runs really smooth and pretty quiet till you give it some gas! New Engine has approximately 30k miles as far as I can tell from documentation .You can tell just by sitting in this car that it is a good one, well loved and well maintained! It fires right up and drives nice. It truly is a pleasure to drive! The car is being sold to the highest bidder, bidder is BUYING the car, not the right of first refusal! $500 deposit is not refundable, and is due at the end of the auction. You are welcome to ask questions or request a time to come see the car and I will do my best to accommodate you. Thanks for looking!
