1967 Chevrolet Camaro -- Additional Info:

First year Camaros are always desirable cars. This one is especially so, looking good in its Black paint and Bolero Red stripes. It is also sounding good with its pumped up 454 under the hood. Check it out. Black and Red is a great color combination. Bolero Red is just an extra cool name for this particular shade of it, and the SS stripes that are painted on look awesome climbing up the edges of that cowl... induction hood. Of-course the stripes pick back up again on the trunk continuing up and over the spoiler too. Back up front, a blacked-out grill with thin chrome piping around the edges is flanked by single headlights, is underlined by pencil thin chrome bumper, and has a deep chin spoiler that reaches for the ground. The only badges disturbing that slick black paint are crossed racing flags and Camaro in script on the fenders and cowl induction lettering on the hood. There is an SS gas cap under the rear spoiler and above another thin, sharp looking bumper in the rear. But what really makes this car look extra sweet are those black Ridler wheels, don't you think? Open the door and you will find an interior where the Back in Black theme continues. A simple black door panel has a couple slashes of chrome piping running across on the top and bottom. The comfortable bucket seats have pleated centers with smooth edge panels. If you have a seat in it you will be able to wrap your hands around a beefy Grant GT steering wheel and you will find that the white Hurst shifter for the 4-speed manual transmission falls easily to hand. Behind the steering wheel is a stock dash with the exception of a Bosch gauge pack that keeps accurate tabs on water temp, oil pressure and voltage. The heating and ventilation controls include those for the air conditioning to keep you cool on hot summer days and there is Retrosound stereo in the center console that pumps the tunes out through 6X9 speakers in the back shelf. Good looking carpets and headliner tie the look of the interior together nicely. Under the hood you will find that 454 big block engine nestled down in a neat and clean engine bay. A free flow air filter feeds a Holley 4-barrel carburetor and flows down through a Summit aluminum intake manifold. Those massive big block valve covers dress up the engine bay all shiny in their chrome and are joined by a chromed alternator, brace rods, and radiator top plate. Long tube headers wind their way out of the engine bay and connect with a Flowmaster exhaust. Signs of good regular maintenance are present in the newer belts, hoses and the updated Classic brand A/C compressor that runs R134 freon. Power front disc brakes insure that you can haul this Camaro back down from speed if you cut it loose and power steering certainly helps while running back roads or pulling into parking spots with that big block up front. The rubber meets the road through 275/35ZR18s in the back and 235/40R18s in the front mounted on those awesome black Ridler wheels. A black and red, first year, big block Camaro. With air conditioning! Come on down and check this sweet ride out. You might decide to ride it on home with you.
