1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Additional Info:

For sale is my 1970 Chevelle Convertible LS6. This car was out of a prominent car collector who used to play for the Yankees. And that is real, however the numbers correct I don't have documentation.S, I don't have paperwork to authenticate it but in 2007 this car went through a well known auction house advertising it as a LS6 numbers matching engine ( the block and vin do match)but again no documentation to support it. If I did have that this car would be worth a heck of a lot more. But it still is a great car and if you ever wanted a LS6 Chevelle without paying 6 figures this is the car.I've owned this car for approximately 8 years and have since brought it up many levels since I obtained it.Car was stripped to bare metal and repainted about 6 years ago. Still shows extremely well. Motor was rebuilt completely and runs very strong. Overall the car is a perfect high grade driver. I had this car at Mecum Indy this past spring and it bid to 90 k. But my rep on the car had a 125 k reserve and didn't respond. Well now since I'm motivated to sell it and the contract with Mecum has exspired I am ready to sell. Let me be clear that the only reason I'm selling is because I don't get to drive it due to family commitments and decided to let someone else enjoy it. This car looks great and runs great. Other notes it has Power steering, power brake, power top, 4 speed, am-Fm. Radio. Spare tire and jack assembly all date correct.Please no broker third party calls.
