Underpinned by a custom round-tube super chassis with C7 Z06 suspension and brakes. This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible has the ability to blast off the line and stop on a dime. a 535hp special order GM crate Gen 7 LT1 engine mated to a Tremec Magnum 6-speed transmission. This Resto Mod mid year is primed for performance. A new GM engine-control management harness and computer system with Lectric Limited corvette body wiring harness provides instant power. The engine breathes through Billy Boat polished stainless-steel headers with side exhaust. Has Winters Quick Change rear with 3.70 gearing that is nestled between heavy duty C7 rear axles and ZR1 hubs. Making the most of putting all that power to the pavement. Keeping it upright is a set of QA1 dual-action coilovers with 18 different settings for ride control and C7 sway bars front and rear. Has a C7 Z06 Z51 brake package with 14 inch rotors and ABS hydraulic over electric power brakes. Even the steering has been addressed with the addition of a Stiletto Quick Steer power rack and pinion system linked to a Flaming River tilt steering column topped by a Billet Specialities steering wheel. Keeping the big mill cool is a custom Dewitts big block polished radiator with dual fans. The parking brake operates off the original E-brake handle but is now electrically operated. Exterior is painted in a bright Silver. All the bumpers have been tripled chrome plated and all the stainless has been painstakingly polished. Nice touches abound inside, with Al Knoch custom quilted Black leather upholstery with double stitched Red trim, Vintage Air, power windows, power seats, power decklid and custom modified C6 waterfall between the seats. If the sounds from the engine and exhaust aren’t enough, crank up the Custom Sound retro radio with Bluetooth. New LOF tinted glass will keep the rays at bay. The driver will dig the original gauges with new electronics and SkyDrive.
