Up for auction is a prime example of a well restored and modified 1965 Chevrolet Malibu 2 door hardtop and one of the best color combinations in my opinion.The car has undergone a beautiful restoration with less than 2500 miles since completion. The car has had everything new or rebuilt. The engine is a Cope Brothers dyno'ed at 575 horse with pumped gas. It runs excellent and sounds amazing. Sits just right,doesn't run hot or load up so it is very street-able and easy to drive with no problems or concerns.Transmission is a professionally built manual valve body 2 speed glide,all heavy duty and built to handle the engine's 505 ft. lbs of torque. More than 10K for motor and transmission alone.This was a real nice well cared for clean and rust free 327/powerglide Chevelle even before the restoration so it is incredibly nice now and a very solid investment.Here is a list of the cars specs,Was original Ermine white with blue interior, body repainted in Ermine white base coat / clear coat,all new chrome,trim,lights,lenses,bezels,handles,mirrors,bumpers,and a very expensive NOS grill,trunk chrome is original to the car and very nice.All of the interior is fresh including carpet,headliner, seat covers, door panels, dash restored /repainted at same time interior was done. All new after market gage's installed. Trunk area and engine compartment detailed nicely. New reproduction front engine and light harness installed. Glass is all very nice. New custom built 18x7 and 18x8 Boyd Coddington dictators with back spacing made correct for this car. Front suspension is all new with 2 " drop spindles, disc brakes, booster / maste, lines, drilled rotors, springs etc. A very difficult to find and expensive factory GM big block Chevelle power steering system was locate, refurbished and installed. Rear end is an original chevelle 12 bolt 3.73 posi with new Yukon after market axel's. The 468 engine is a 4 bolt bloc, steel crank, H-beam rod, SRP dome piston with 10.5 C.R, SFI balance, solid roller . 525" lift cam, ported and polished oval port heads with over sized stainless valves, hardened seats and roller rockers. New Barry Grant 85 carb - tuned for this engine on dyno, Holly red pump, full MSD ignition system, large Be Cool radiator.
