1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Additional Info:

Here we have a three owner DZ302 1969 Z28 with66,045 miles on it. This is not some hacked together rebuild that had rusted floor pans and fenders replaced, this is a real deal car with one re-paint in the 70’s that has been meticulously cared for its entire life. No rust or corrosion anywhere.

This Z28 is an early 1969 Van Nuys California built car 124379L529083. The paint is in better than excellent condition, the interior is in exceptional shape with no tears and everything works as it should. There are very few cars of this caliber on the market. For that matter there are very few cars in this condition in existence. This car was built the second week of April 1969with 9L529083 partial VIN. The DZ302Engine and the MunciTransmission are matching andhave partial VIN of 19L530071. Iam unable to determine if the motor and transmission were ever changed in this car. I have tracked ownership back 37 years andthe twoowners attest to the fact that no modifications were ever accomplished on this car during their ownership (I can put any serious buyer in touch with the gentleman I obtained the car from who owned it in his privet collection for 17 years). Additionally in May of 1969 the entire Van Nuys plant went on strike and no cars were builtthat month. With a disgruntled workforce in April 69 working the Van Nuys plant who knows what could have happen? I cannot find any information anywhere on1969 Z28 19L530071which would match this drive train. Every Ebay expert (which all have felt it necessary to reach out to me) would say it is impossible for this motor to have been installed at the factory. I say nothing is impossible andwithout anyquestionboth this motor and this car were in the Van Nuys plant at the same time in May 1969with a work force that waspreparing to goon strike. Could they have mismatched an engine and transmission your guessis as good as mine??

I have the broadcast sheet which was found on top of the fuel tank. It is in pretty bad shape but it validates this car as a True Z28. I have located the first hiddenVin code under the cowl and it is an exact match to the vin plate.
