1968 ChevroletChevelleMalibu427 Big Block with 4 speedRuns Strong
1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu427 Big block 4 speed driver project that you can drive and enjoy, while you finish some small things to make her perfect!

427 Engine is period correct Chevrolet big block with the casting # 3916321. Casting # 3916321 decodes to either a late 1967 Vette motor or a '68 Passenger car/Vette. This motor will get it! It's a bit of a beast. It's paired with a 4 speed manual transmission, and 12 bolt posi rear. Unsure of the rear, but it feels like 4.11 or Higher. There's also some Hotchkis performance components in the suspension. The Malibu was built to be a true street machine!

Headlights, turn signals, horn, brake lights, tachometer, water temp gauge, oil pressure gauge, and gas gauge all work. Get in and drive!

The frame, floors, trunk lid, fenders, quarter panels, rockers, doors, and roof are all pretty solid in our opinion. Again, please look at all pictures, ask for more, and/or come and see this '68 Malibu 427 to form your own opinion. There's imperfections all over the paint. This '68 has to be painted. The paint has got some chips here and there too, but its a great driver. We don't really do show queens. We believe more in drivers. Get in and get it, and this beast surely can!

Cowl tag shows it to be an original paint code G: Ash Gold. Current color is more of a Grotto Blue for '68. Please look at the pics of entire body, and of each body panel. You'll see that it looks somewhat ok from a little bit away. As you come up on it you'll see that she needs a paint job.

Interiorcode: 766 original vinyl black bucket seats. There is a 4 speed console. The dash, door panels, and seats are ingood condition. The dash does have an old style aftermarket radio installed. There's also a disc player installed in the trunk and a Sirius radio installed too.The wheels are clean 15" Chevrolet Rallys wrapped in thick BF Goodrich performance tires. Please understand that these are our opinions of this classic. We ask you to look at all the pictures, ask formore pictures if needed, and/or come and see this Chevrolet 427 4 speed in person to form your own opinion. Once you are comfortable please bid then, and not beforehand.
