1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Additional Info:

.

For sale is a recently restored 1967 Malibu Convertible that runs and drives excellent and is ready for summer cruising. This is a 136 code car which means it was born with a V8, and it came with a column shift automatic. It now has a stout 454 CI motor with a 4 speed. The motorhas had some performance work done to it including, Weiand “Stealth” alum. intake, fresh Holley 700 double pumper, ignition has been up graded with a MSD 6AL box, MSD HEI distributer and Accell HEI super coil and it stays cool with a 25” Champion alum. radiator (stays right around 180 deg). This motor sounds like it has a pretty hefty cam in it, you can hear it in the lumpy idle which sounds great through the Flowmaster dual exhaust. Behind the 454 is a Borg Warner Super T-10 4 speed with alum. bell housing and a Hurst shifter. Nice set up. It has a 10 bolt rear end which is not a posi. unit, and I’m not sure what gears it has in it. This car has front disc brakes, power steering, power top and tinted windows. The blue interior is beautiful, nice to see something that isn’t black. It has the 4 speed console with clock (I bench tested clock and it works perfectly but it is not wired). As you can see in the pics, the interior is all in excellent condition including the convertible top which also comes with a white boot cover. During its restoration and mechanical up grades, this car had the floors replaced, floor braces, both quarter panels and the trunk pan as far as I can see. All were was done correctly, nicely fit, welded and seam sealed. There is some bondo in the lower fenders and a skim coat on the rockers which were not replaced. There isa spot on the driver’s lower fender where the bondo has cracked but that’s it. There is also a small piece of paint peeling near the side view mirror. I am posting a walk around video in which you can see what I am describing. Chrome is all very nice. The headlights, horn, heater, power top, wipers and gages all work as they should. There are no parking lights in the rear and therefore the blinkers aren’t working either (they are linked together), the brake lights do work, I think it may be the headlight switch that needs replacingbased onresearch I've done on this issue,so it needs a little tinkering to figure that out. This car is not perfect and is priced accordingly. Bottom line, this is a very nice, great looking, 136 code 1967 Malibu Chevelle Convertible with a big block 454 and a4 speed, you can’t go wrong, and it’s priced to sell.

Here is a link tomy walk around video. Enjoy! Sounds awesome.
