1969 Chevrolet C-10 K-10 Additional Info:

350 V8 5.7L with 4 bbl carb and 4 speed manual transmission on the floor (1st gear is granny low gear), long bed.
This is my dad's 1969 K-10 pickup (4wd version of the C10). He has finally decided to part with it. My dad has owned it 17 years and hasn't driven it in 5 or 6 years. I have completed all the needed maintenance to make it road worthy again.
I think the truck is almost all original, except the seat has been re-upholstered, the radio is aftermarket (but the dash was not cut, and the original radio is included), and the rear bumper is not original (a friend gave the bumper to my dad about 15 years ago, the bumper was dented before it was put on this truck). It has dual exhaust, which I think was original, but it exits in front of the rear wheels, which I don't think would have been original. It has mufflers though, so it isn't loud at all.
No power steering, no power brakes. Apparently these were not even options on the 4wd version for 1969. This was a plain simple model with no frills, except the V8 and the 4WD. Original wood bed, but needs refinished. Has all the original badging on fenders.
Recent work and parts (less than 40 miles since work completed):
-All new brakes including master cylinder, all new wheel cylinders, all new brake shoes, all new drums, and new hardware for front brakes. Brakes completely drained and bled with new fluid. Brakes work just as good as new including e-brake.
-New clutch including disc, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, pilot bushing, and new flywheel.
-New front axle knuckle seals and felts with appropriate 140w oil added
-4 year old battery, new (-) cable, new (+) terminal
-Fairly new fuel tank and pickup installed, new rubber fuel line sections, new in-line fuel filter, new in-carb fuel filter. Existing fuel pump tested good.
-Oil change with new filter, oil pump primed, new valve cover gaskets, ignition timing set.
-Rear differential fluid change, transmission fluid change
-New radiator hoses, new heater hoses, antifreeze change. Cooling system works great.
-Air filter checked
-Tire pressure checked, tires still have 80% tread, no dry-rot, but are over 15 years old.
-Fan belt checked
-New vacuum line
-New rear u-joint straps
-New Goodyear wiper blades
Extra parts included, but not installed:
-Original radio
-Replacement grille (existing grille has minor dent around driver headlight)
-Partial components to add air conditioning (evaporator and housing)
-Extra tail light
-Extra headlight ring
-Original canister oil filter parts
-Extra heater controls (much better shape)
-Extra horn?
-Extra part of the wiring harness?
-4 original hubcaps (probably came from a 2wd as they only fit the rear wheels due to the 4wd hubs)
-Brand new spark plug wire set
-Brand new rebuild kit for 4 bbl carb
-Brand new intake manifold gasket set
-Extra factory dash speaker?
What it may need (this is not a definitive list, but what I am aware of):
-Wheel bearings have not been inspected. No noise or vibration, but they would be worth taking out and re-packing with grease.
-Full grease job; I have greased a few points, but all the points should be greased well
-Steering box fluid change hasn't been done, and should be done eventually as well.
-Windshield cracked on passenger side, completely out of drivers vision, but it still should be replaced at some point.
-Other aesthetic issues such as cracked dash and cracked steering wheel, etc.
-Tires do not have any visible dry rot, and still have 80% tread or so, but have been on the truck since my dad purchased it, and should be considered for replacement.
Manuals - I have a printed copy of the original factory service manual, a digital copy on CD of the original service manual, an original hard copy of Chevrolet Vehicle Load Capacity Guide, and a Haynes manual. They all go with the truck.
Runs and drives like a champ. Everything on the truck seems to work without issue, except for the fuel gauge only works intermittently. I found some records for it in the glove box from the previous owner. I think it has seen less than 8,000 miles in over 20 years and shows just shy of 43,000 miles on the odometer. It isn't clear if the 43,000 on the odometer is the original miles or not. Receipts will be provided for the recent parts installed. This truck has been unmolested, is fully drivable as it currently sits, and is a great candidate for a restoration. To my knowledge, this truck has always been in Colorado. Due to the dry climate, this has resulted in minimal rust and a relatively clean body.
-Final payment due in full in CASH prior to releasing truck, keys or title.
-Truck is sold AS-IS and WHERE-IS. Buyer is responsible for picking up the truck at my location, and seller makes no guarantees about condition of truck.
-$500 deposit due within 24 hours of accepted offer or Buy It Now. This deposit is non-refundable as it is a deposit to come pick up truck and complete the transaction.
-Any bid is considered to be binding per the terms of the auction.
-Anyone making a bid is encouraged to personally inspect the vehicle in person, or have a representative view the vehicle.
-Truck is also for sale locally; Seller reserves the right to end this sale at any time if a local sale occurs.
Passed Denver emissions test in Summer of 2015 with no problems on the first try. If buyer is local to Denver area, a new emissions test will be provided.
Clear Colorado title in my dads name, and he is ready to sign it over to the lucky buyer.
