1961 Chevrolet Impala 4-Door Sport Hard Top (No Center Post) Additional Info:

1961 Chevy Impala 4 door hardtop Sport model (no center post). Engine is a Big Block 348 V-8 with a new Edlebrock 4 barrel carb.

She has lived her life in Kentucky, Georgia, Texas, and now the Alabama Gulf Coast. Previous title info in hand.

She has dual exhausts with a beautiful rumble. The Big Block 348 is a fairly rare engine and especially in this model of Impala. It is the predecessor of the famous 409. Same block, just a bit bigger bore. She has Power Steering and Power Brakes. She also has a beautiful pair of fender skirts that give her a very classy look for Impalas of this year. Front lap belts have been installed for safety. Correct OEM aluminum trim plates installed below both sets of doors. New door weather stripping installed around one door. I have another set on hand to be installed. Original OEM air cleaner assy/filter installed. Parking brake has been adjusted. Oil recently changed. New plugs installed.Had aftermarket A/C installed before I got her 2+ years ago from a restoration outfit in Texas (Garage Junkies). A/C under dash unit blows nice and cold! New windshield washer tank and hoses installed. Washer fluid bottle installed. Wipers/washer not yet connected. 2 speed wiper/washer motor has been rebuilt and reinstalled awaiting electric wires hookup (my books show how). Original CHEVY Push Button radio (not connected). She came with new HANKOOK white wall tires and like new spare along with proper jack and lug wrench. I purchased the proper front floor mats for a 1961; black with the white Chevy circle and bow tie emblem. I exercise her approximately 20 miles a month in town and on the highway and there isnever an issue. She runs perfectly and does not overheat. She turns heads and gets numerous honks and thumbs up!! She stays covered in the garage to keep her beautiful Roman Red, glass sealed, paint job in beautiful condition. She runs on non-ethanol gasoline since she is not fuel injected and is stored most of the time. SHE IS A CLASSIC CAR RESTORATION....NOT A HOT ROD OR RESTO MOD VEHICLE. I have her insured with HAGGERTY and it is very reasonable. She has won 2 Car Show Trophies since I have owned her.

In 2016, she was appraised at $29,800. The appraisal is included in the photos listing.

I have clear title in hand.

If you want to come see her and drive her, let me know.

If you need to ship her to you, that is your arrangement to make. I had her shipped to me from Texas.

I have purchased additional manuals, spare parts and accessories, and I can send additional pics of these if you request.

I have photos of all the extra parts I purchased as well as maintenance and parts receipts I have acquired since I have owned her.

SHE IS, OF COURSE, SOLD AS IS, WITH NO WARRANTY
