Up for sale is a beautifully restored 1956 Chevy Bel-Air 2 door sedan. This 56 went through a body on restoration in 2012. {Soda Blasted to bare metal} The car was a good car to start with minimal body work, andno floor or trunkpans have been replaced, It had factory undercoating years ago that preserved the bottom. ( Have photos of restoration before & after)The women that owned the car said it was her families car that came from New York in 56 and stayed in central Florida it'sentire life. It was originally copper and white but when restored I went with a much more appealing green color and bright white. As you can tell in the pics the body and paint are flawless as is the stainless trim, and newcustom interior. The chrome on this 56 is outstanding with the exception of the rear bumper which is original to the car. Originally equipped with a 265 V8 now has a new 350Crate engine that was factory dyno at 409 hp and freshly rebuilt TH 350 and new torque converter, new exhaustceramic coated headers, new flowmaster mufflersoriginal speedometer and lokar shift linkage that connects it to the original column mounted shifter,Front and rear stock drum brakes completely rebuilt with new lines, hoses, wheels cylinders master cylinder, ball joints, tie rods, and shocks are relatively new.All new sideglass new rubber gaskets, window tracks, channels, felt whiskers. All chrome and stainless throughout the car has been either restored or replace. New American Autowire throughout, new Retrosound radio, kick panel speakers,Dynamat sound deadener,all new door and window handles and cranks.
