Here is a beautiful 1967 chevy corvette convertible factory 427 big block car with tri-power 435hp setup in triple black and a 4 speed! Very nice and attractive driver with great eye appeal and tons of potential for the right collector. I've been working on this car in my spare time for the last couple of years and got it to the point where all the major stuff is done and is almost ready to enjoy and drive around. I originally got it from a collector in Ohio, got it painted, did the interior/top, added the tri-power and the correct bolt-on wheels w/redline tires, etc. etc.

OPTIONS

Power Steering

Power DISC Brakes All Around

Dual Exhaust 427ci/435hp Engine (Replaced with 468ci big block and 1968 date coded Tri-Power setup)

4 Speed Muncie M-21 Transmission

Factory 15" Bolt-On Wheels w/Redline Tires

Body is actually pretty clean and straight. When I got it, it was mostly in primer with some minor fiberglass damage on the nose but NO accident damage. No welding that shouldn't have been there, and a silly scooped hood (I eventually found a correct replacement). Lines look good, check out pictures down the sides.

Car runs/drives excellent. Motor has TONS of power and has a few internal performance modifications such as being bored 0.030 over to 468ci, mild performance camshaft, upgraded pistons and rods. Good brakes. Transmission shifts nice and tight with a heavy duty hydraulic clutch. Overall the car is mechanically sound.

Excellent interior with NEW seat covers, NEW carpeting and some odds and ends replaced within the last few years. Interior was dyed black from being a previously different color. Nice convertible top with NO rips and decent back window with NO holes.

VERY CLEAN Frame and floorboards with excellent end caps, birdcage and rails. NO rot or rust. Some older undercoating chipping here and there, but otherwise no issues.

Not a 100% Bloomington Gold matching numbers show car obviously and it will need a few minor things addressed, but presents itself beautifully. Paint was done professionally with basecoat/clearcoat within the last 5 years (shows nicely with good gloss and shine but has minor imperfections here and there as it's not a $20k showcar paintjob). Front clip was replaced from what I could tell (has no bonding strips under front fenders), as was the hood since the car previously had a scoop on it. Passenger door needs minor lock adjustment. Not working: gauges and clock (not connected), headlights (missing motors), signals/wipers need connecting. Missing: spare tire and tub, heater controls in dash. Has a couple of small leaks from sitting around all winter and should be freshened up at a shop to be put back on road safely in my opinion). Trim tag is half missing so this is not the correct color/interior combo (reproductions are available online). Vin plate is screwed on instead of tack welded (picture available, this is how I got it).

This is a GREAT CORVETTE that has GREAT POTENTIAL and could easily be taken to the next level with some TLC. Most other ones are priced in the $75-100k range so you have plenty of room to invest a little money and take care of all the little issues.
