1968 Chevrolet Impala SS Additional Info:

1968 Chevrolet Impala SS.
Serious head turner. Good solid honest car. Top of the engine was gone through 2 summers ago. New double roller timing chain was done as well.
Factory 4 speed A/C Car. A/C converted to 134 and blows cold. Heater Core bypassed. Most of the bugs have been worked out of this car. Engine is out of a 1965 Corvette and is an HH Motor according to the serial number on the block. Has been in the car for a long time. I am the third owner. I purchased it 4 years ago and brought it to where it is now. I installed Dart Aluminum Racing heads, Comp Ca, Edelbrock High Rise Intake and Carb. Runs like a champ. Hours of highway driving no problem. It has Flowmaster 50 Dual Exhaust that sound incredible with the cam. Paint is a 10 out of 10. Stunning Visually. Has a nice red interior. I will include the new carpet I did not get around to installing. Seats are excellent. Small tearing on the piping of the drivers side.
This is a great turn key car that you can do little things to as you enjoy it. The hard part is done.
This car can be driven as is. Does not need much. The interior lights do not work except for the tach. I have brand new brakes, Just changed the oil with Joe Gibbs Racing Oil. Small leak from rear main. Oil level did not drop at all for two years. Small drip on my garage floor mat. Car starts and drives fantastic. This is sold as is. The car is fifty years old! It is a well preserved super rare car. Multiple local show winner and I have never run into another one.
Winner will be happy and enjoy some great cruising in a strong and roomy classic. EVERYONE will ask you about it. Be prepared. Sounds fantastic. Good luck and thank you for bidding.
