This is an amazing original one-owner1977 Chevrolet K/5 Blazer 4x4 in beautiful factory Santa Fe Tan paint with stunning original Buckskin knit vinyl bucket seat interior. This is a genuine, documented, one-owner survivor with only 14,739 original miles. Original numbers-matching V-8 engine, trans, transfer case, and axles. The original undercarriage still has near perfect rubber bushings, snubbers, factory spring decals, factory manufacturing crayon marks, and more. Options include V8 engine, 4-speed transmission, power steering, power brakes, full instrumentation/gauge package, tilt steering wheel, 31-gallon Desert fuel tank, positraction axles, multi-range 4-wheel drive transfer case, rally wheels, chrome grill, bucket seats, rear seat, and more!

The original paint still in absolutely beautiful condition, not thin or worn anywhere. The original interior in just about as-new showroom condition, as you can clearly see, and the four-speed transmission, power steering, power brakes, etc. all working like new, as is the transfer case. The original rubber floor mat is in nearly perfect condition. The truck was ordered without a center console, and as a radio delete vehicle. Positraction axles, perfect running original small block V8; unique and amazing... bought new, driven for just over two years, and then parked indoors under cover. Started regularly to maintain proper mechanical condition, she runs and drives like new. Original fancy factory exterior trim, chrome, and glass.

The original weather strip is still supple and like new throughout. The factory hardtop is perfect and has never been off. This is a very high-end, low-mile survivor that will be the focal point of any Chevrolet collection; this has to be one of the most beautiful and best original paint early Blazers in existence.

The backstory: This one-owner vehicle was the ONLY new vehicle ever purchased by Jack R, a military pilot and mechanical engineer. While he owned and used many vehicles on his farm, this was his baby and he treated it as such.It was purchased new in 1977 in Monroeville, PA and spent the first two years of its’ life there, until moving to Jack's remote farm in Northern Idaho, where it was used sparingly, exclusively for recreational purposes. Jack was deployed again with the military shortly thereafter, and the Blazer went into storage, covered and protected. A close life-long friend (who ultimately bought Jack’s farm) cared for the vehicle in his absence until Jack, upon falling ill, turned over possession of his beloved Blazer to his close friend along with the sale of his farm. The friend started and occasionally moved the truck to keep it in sound order, putting under 50 miles on it literally over the course of decades.

Documentation includes its’ original dealer order form, copy of the original PA title (with mileage stated), current Idaho title (also with stated mileage, original Owner’s Manual, original Warranty Card, and the plastic sleeve which holds all the above. Pretty much everything that was handed from the dealer to the buyer at the time of purchase is included. I’ve also got the hand-written letter from Jack to his dear friend, in which he entrusts his friend to move the Blazer from secure storage to the farm.

I doubt you will ever find another Blazer like this, with documentation since new (maintenance receipts, tires, upgraded factory dual exhaust when only 2 years old, and more), wearing beautiful original paint, a nearly flawless original interior, original survivor engine bay and undercarriage, in perfect turn-key running and driving condition. I’ve restored many, and prefer this particular one with original paint to any I’ve fully restored. Just as nice if not nicer in all respects, but they are only original once... this one is. This Blazer is as nice as you will ever find, at any price.

NO rust at all, floors are like new, as are the rockers, quarters, fenders, etc. Amazing. Windows roll up and down like new, dash is perfect, gauge package, more. As you can clearly see, the trim is as close to mint/perfect as you will find, the paint gorgeous, interior amazing, etc. A true time capsule of a vehicle.

The Uniroyal tires are perfect, with only ~50 miles on them, and include the matching spare, all on original Rally wheels.

As you can see, the truck is absolutely amazing. I would keep it if I could afford to.

Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for inspection and export.

While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 41-year-old classic, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied.

Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction’s end via cash, deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer.

Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I own a classic car restoration shop and can recommend a reliable and affordable broker who I have used many times... ultimately the choice must be yours alone.
