1983 Chevrolet El Camino Super Sport Additional Info:

1983 Chevy El Camino, breaks my heart to be listing my baby but here it goes. :( Need the space in garage and can't bare to keep her outside. Car is not perfect but it is a very nice, reliable straight, awesome car. I would drive this car coast to coast in a heart beat, spent a lot of money to make that way.Belonged to the father in law of the man I bought it from, very nice people, father in law loved and cared for this car until he passed away. Son in law sold to me because he had no where to store it and was just using it as a truck, home depot trips etc.Upon purchase I serviced car completely, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, trans service, rear diff, filters, hoses, belts etc., the whole nine. Even did valve seals, if you know old chevys they smoke upon start up, not any more. This car runs and drives amazingly well, even put a reconditioned factory original quadra-jet carb that cost me about 450 bucks. All new tires and brakes all the way around, new shocks, new flow master muffler, cold a/c, hot heat. Truly a nice ride.Dash carpet and seats are all in great shape, as the pics clearly show. The full size spare and jack are properly mounted behind the passenger seat as they should be. The original owners manual and sales brochure are in the glove box. This is a very nice, true super sport el camino.Couple small negative things, I broke the cruise control part when doing the carb, if you look in engine pics you'll see an asprin bottle with some red tape around it plugging the broken part so there would be no vacuum leak. I cannot seem to find just that component of the cruise for sale, looks like you have to buy whole assembly which seems like a waste to me. Also took her out of garage on a very cold 18 degree south jersey day and drove to work, speedo cable must have been frozen or something cause it was making a lot of noise, needle was moving like crazy then it stopped all together. Discovered later when I got home that the little plastic drive piece broke. This happened in the last month or so, the mileage may be off a couple hundred because I do use car. So no cruise and currently no speedo. Car is almost completely rust free, very clean and straight underbody, inner fenders, wheel wells etc. some rust on bottom of doors but not bad at all. Tailgate opens and closes fine, just a little tricky to close. These cars are going nothing but up in value, you no longer can find these cars cheap, especially in this condition. I have tried to be as honest as possible with my description, you will not be disappointed in this car in any way. Fly in and drive home, she will get you where ever you need to go. NO RESERVE. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Please do not hesitate to text, email or call me with any questions. My name is Joe. eight five six 275 six one five three. Please follow all ebay protocol. Thank you for looking at my El Camino!
