1966 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

This is an Original 1966 Chevy Corvette Convertible with its Original Born with Engine Transmission and Rear End. The Car is Originally Nassau Blue Blue Interior. It is a California 350 Hp Motor with smog Originally K-19. It is missing the smog. It has a white convertible top. The car is a soft top only car. It has Power windows and Power Steering. It also comes with a set of Reproduction Bolt on wheels that were on the car when it was last on the road. This car is an Excellent Restoration project as it is as stated to have its Original Born with Drivetrain. It is a L-79 4-speed car. It has been started twice a year until this year. The Engine ran great but was getting a little tired. The trans and rear were rebuilt some time ago and it shifted and went down the road with no issues or problems. The Motor is all original except the carb was changed and maybe the coil. This was a running and Driving car till I started to restore it. I have all of the parts and bumpers and nuts bolts and screws for the car; I also have a new Interior kit for the car from Al Knoch. Dash pads seat covers door panels visors. The Car was stripped of paint in the rear to bare fiberglass. The Car was hit in the front end at least twice and has a non original lower parking valance. I did not strip the front of the car as I was going to put a new Front end on the car with all of the correct bonding strips and make it look like new. Upon stripping the rear I Discovered that the car was Clipped with a 67 Rear section from the middle of the door jamb back. It is almost Not Noticeable other than the 67 rear reverse light opening that was covered up. Also there are very small Cracks at the end of the body under the sill plates. I look under the car and it is very hard to see where it was spliced but if you look closely you can find the seam The rear half of the car is Un-hit and Xlnt. The car still has the original doors also unhit. The brakes were up but now a left front brake hose has burst, so no brakes till that is replaced. The Frame appears to be straight and rust free other than surface rust/ The car will Need a Full Restoration in My Opinion. It does have its good and bad points. Today It is very Rare to find an Original Born with Matching Number Car. This will Make a Big Money Small Block RoadsterI do Not want to show the car even if you are Local as I do not want everyone coming by for a look If you are interested Please ask all Questions before bidding and I can Send you pix and answer all questions. I have sold many cars and Expensive parts on E-Bay With no Problems. Look at my Feedback and Bid with Confidence.I have tried to be Honest about the car as I want u to know what this car is like exactly
