1951 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:

Up for auction is a 1951 Chevy 3100 5 window Rat Rod. Truck has upgraded front and rear suspension with an air bagged 4-link in the rear and Mustang II front end with a power steering rack. Has power brakes with large drums in the back and 11" discs in the front. The rear end is a dana 70 out of an 80's truck; only has one set of tires on but meant to be a dually. The gas tank was fabricated out of 2 air tanks, holds about 20 gallons. The seats are out of a Toyota, the driver side is electric but not hooked up. The gauges are mechanical except for the speedometer which is ran by GPS and has other options such as 1/4 mile e/t and 0-60 time. "Under the hood" is a BBC 454 bored .60 over. with all fresh internals and a Comp Cams ... On top is an Edelbrock 1407 750 CFM carb and Performer 2.0 intake. The heads are a -236 casting. Transmission is a Th-400 with a slight leak out of the fill tube due to bad o-ring or warped tube. Water is fed through the system by a new water pump through an aluminum radiator with a 16" electric fan. Exhaust is 3'' with 4"X 22" glass packs which dump just behind the cab. New rubber around the windows and doors, no door glass. CPP Steering column. I also have the hood and fenders.

This truck is definitely a head turner. Sounds great and definitely spins the tires, has torque for days. A rat rod style truck for sure, not meant to be the prettiest but is a great conversation starter and will get a ton of compliments.
