1958 Chevrolet Impala Additional Info:

This 1958 Chevrolet Impala represents a highly desirable inaugural model of a one-year design. And this restored coupe has the best of everything from the glossy blue paint, to the big-block tri-power under the hood.
Every time you take this hardtop out in the sunshine it's going to impress you. The turquoise paint with white roof and matching whitewall tires has a radiance about it that will get noticed from blocks away. This glow is because we have over $30k in receipts that detail a restoration to the paint and body that was completed in 2016. That means a coupe that has been given a serious investment to look, fresh, correct, and bright. They even added a Continental kit, too. The car is a visual delight with awesome details everywhere you look. Check out the chrome grille that runs from end to end that leads the way for this lower, wider, and longer '58 Chevy. The hardtop profile with wraparound glass front and rear makes the top-of-the-line Impala look fast standing still. And where this roof meets the rear quarters, it begins the trim line that seamlessly wraps around the taillights for an appearance like tailfins turned on their side a very cool iconic touch. So, it's amazing something so intricate would be a one-year-only design. But it's this rarity and distinction that keep the '58s a sought-after coupe in the market.
Tri-tone interiors were the Impala's calling card, and the white, black, and turquoise is a nicely restored example of a factory package. Everything from the bright insert in the door panel to the tight headliner appears nicely preserved, if not brand new. In fact, it almost looks like no one has sat on the cool tri-tone seat inserts that adds both comfort and distinction. There's even a collapsible armrest so that the rear passengers can make the most out of this full-size coupe. Up front, the dashboard is a big step forward compared to 1957, and the correct dual-spoke jet-age inspired steering wheel is beautifully finished with lots of bright details. The speedometer is as long as the horizon, and it's nicely rendered with crisp numbers on black background. So yes, this is pure rolling nostalgia.
Take a good look at the engine bay, because the honest-looking black air cleaner is almost hiding the beast within. 1958 is a very desirable year because it was the first time the big block V8 was available in passenger cars. If you were really lucky, a 348 cubic-inch motor came with the tri-power (triple dual-barrel carburetors) you see here. It's a later model block that was given a thorough restoration later in life, and that's why the engine bay looks tidy with its bold Chevy orange and gloss black presentation. The powerful V8 motor made you the king of the streets, and the dual exhaust had the sound to back it up. But beyond just performance, this is a great cruiser with easy driving features like the Powerglide automatic transmission, coil spring rear suspension, and power steering.
It's the Impala everyone wished they had in '58, and it has been restored to look like day one. So whether you were around back then, or just enjoy the best from the era, this is the full-size Chevy to envy. An expertly restored and easy-driving single-year classic like this is a fleeting opportunity, so don't miss out. Call today!!!
