1940 Chevrolet Businessmans Coupe
This is a true businessman’s coupe (no rear seat) in fairly nice
restorable condition. It has a 350cu Chevy engine with a TH350
automatic transmission. Has headers and dual exhaust with glass packs.
Sounds great. Needs tail pipes.
Runs good but needs fine tuning the carburetor (vacuum lines).
Has Eldebrock air cleaner, carburetor, and intake manifold.
Gas tank newer and clean inside. Has new alternator, newer fuel pump, and 12 volt battery.
Radiator has no leaks and has dual fans that need to be hooked to the
electric. Have the switches and wiring kit for the dual fans.
The chassis is a late 1970's Camaro frame, solid with surface rust in areas.
Has a Cadillac tilt/telescopic steering wheel. Body and fenders seem nice.
Floor is soft in some areas. Have headlights, all window glass (which has been tinted),
bumpers, chrome trim, door panels that match the seats and a nice straight grille. Trunk has been
frenched for a license plate. Needs trunk hinges and inside door/window handles. Has the EZ wiring
that still needs to be hooked into the gauges/lights etc. but has been run to those areas.
Gauge cluster is new. Power steering and power brakes. Brakes stop but could use adjustment to
to be stronger.
Everything is basically plumbed in for setup and the ability to move the car around the yard.
You will need reroute/tightened up and setup lines and such for highway driving.
Have clear NJ title in my name. This would be a fun restoration on a nice Chevy Coupe.
The reason I'm selling is I purchased another project and want to complete it. So the Coupe
has lost it's garage space and is under a car port with a waterproof full cover. I'd keep
the car if I had more indoor space as I don't like cars sitting outside even though covered.

Best if you came and saw the car in person so you can see exactly what you are getting.
Please ask any and all questions. Full payment no later than
7 days from auction end. Will work with a shipper of your choice.
Pickup and delivery is responsibility of the buyer.

Thanks and good luck!
