1969 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

Up for sale is a cruise ready 1969 Chevrolet Corvette with the legendary L46 350 cubic inch V8 350 horsepower. Vehicle has quite a bit of custom exterior work. The body kit is a custom that we have had a hard time getting an exact answer on. From what we have been told, it was a George Barris styled Mako Shark. Now, there are many examples of Mako Shark Corvettes, but we have yet to see one exactly like ours. This kit in particular also has 1967 Cougar XR7 tail lights molded into the rear of the vehicle. A full wide body covers up the over sized tires in front and back, giving it a balanced, yet menacing look overall. To be safe, I would say this is a one of a kind custom fiberglass wide-body on a 1969 Corvette.Car currently has a beautiful candy burgundy color with ghost flames. There are a few small marks and one hairline crack up on the front bumper (see pictures). Overall, a good wet sand and buff would go a long way to restore this paint job, or do a new custom one!
There is a hard top as well as the soft top that are included (and currently mounted on) with the sale. There is also an upgraded HEI GM Ignition and a new set of ignition wires that will be included in the sale. We recently replaced and upgraded the battery to an Optima Yellow Top. The engine is adorned with some upgraded valve covers, upgraded ceramic headers, and custom Flowmaster exhaust. This Corvette has nicely upgraded suspension parts, bushings, shocks, springs, and everything works the way that it should. The 4-speed manual transmission and clutch shift and function as they should. BFGoodrich Radial T/As wrap the wider ARE wheels. The interior of this clean '69 remains mostly stock, short of a little custom padding on the door panels. The black leather seats are in very good shape, with a few slight blemishes that should clean up well. The dash and interior are in very good shape, will get a good cleaning and possible professional detailing (depending on the sale price).
Mileage is original. Body and undercarriage are in overall great driving shape with a little bit of love would be a wonderful show car.
