1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Tribute Additional Info:

This 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 tribute is the perfect balance of vintage style and all the right upgrades. With a performance-built 355ci V8, six-speed transmission, upgraded suspension, and stunning paint, it's built to be the classic that you can enjoy the drive and arrive in style.
That blue really grabs your attention, doesn't it? It looks almost like the factory Mulsanne Blue, except a shade richer and a slick shine that comes from a modern clearcoat. The color fits in with the Camaro crowd, and yet, it remains distinct at the same time. But more than just bold paintwork, the iconic Z/28 dual white stripes complete this attractive package. Plus, they help accent the large cowl induction hood and spoiler that runs end-to-end over the rear. Z/28 badging on every side adds to this aggressive appearance. There's not a lot of shiny trim on a 2nd generation Camaro, but the bright parts like the bumpers, window trim, and even the rings around the taillights are compete for a true classic American muscle car appearance. And of course, everyone takes notice of the Rocker wheels staggered 18/20 inches front/rear. They give an added aggressive touch to the already intimidating profile.
You can instantly tell this Camaro wants to get down to business the moment you open the door. Black bucket seats coordinate nicely with the carpeting, door panels, and dash. While this looks very purpose-built for driving, there's plenty of comfort with a modern AM/FM/CD stereo w/aux input, power steering, and upgraded center console with cup holders. But when you sit behind the grippy NK4 steering wheel, you'll instantly feel a tingle of excitement. The full set of Dakota Digital instruments have an aggressive blue glow, and the Hurst shifter has a knob that matches the exterior color scheme. These tell your senses that there's something special under the hood even before you turn the key and hear it roar.
This was the personal project of a master mechanic, and there is less than 6,000 miles on the whole build that's why the engine bay looks fresh, clean, and seriously powerful. Chevy's bold orange is an instant standout in-between the dark fender walls. But more than just look like a monster motor, you're looking at a true performer. It's a 355 cubic-inch V8 dialed up to an 11:1 compression ratio. It has been fortified with Dart Sportsman heads, bronze guides, and a competition valve job. Plus, it has go-fast goodies like a Lunati Voodoo hydraulic roller cam, Petronix Flame Thrower ignition, Weiand Team G single plane intake, and a Holley Ultra HP 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor. There's a nice set of Hedman long tube headers that feed the rumbling Flowmaster dual exhaust. It all says cool thanks to Griffin aluminum radiator with Derale cooling fans. Making sure you get the most out of this enhanced V8 is the T56 six-speed manual transmission that includes a Ram flywheel and Centerforce dual friction LT1-style clutch for truly confident power shifting. And while all of these upgrades already have you hooked, don't forget to check out the undercarriage photos. Not only is this more proof of how clean and fresh this build is, but also you'll see plenty of great upgrades. This includes QA1 coilovers in front, McGaughy drop spindles, front disc brakes, newer bushings, thick Hotchkis sway bars, and the modern grip of Goodyear Eagle Sport tires.
We bet this one has you saying "Wow" by now. A mechanic's passion project with serious power and all the right supporting components yes, this is one special custom Camaro. And it can all be yours if you're quick enough to grab it. Call today!!!
