1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Additional Info:

You're looking at the best of both worlds. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS has been meticulously restored to have a great look that holds up in all the details (just look at the undercarriage!) And yet beneath all the shine it still has its numbers-matching V8 block. So this is the terrific street machine that you'll love taking to shows and talking to everyone about it especially judges.
If it's attention you crave, this car delivers in spades. The black paint has all the right modern gloss and shine to highlight the added curves Chevy gave the F-body in '69. The ivory double sport stripe package is an icon for the Camaro, and it provides the perfect contrasting color to ensure this muscle machine is memorable day or night. On something this slick, only the best brightwork will do. So it's looking mirror-like on everything from the big chrome bumpers to the delicate wheel arch trim. There's even an upgrade to 18-inch Foose wheels for added flair. Of course, what really makes this a desirable Chevy is the Rally Sport package with the headlights that are hidden behind the mean-looking blacked front out panel. It's hard to know a true '69 RS from the factory, but the level of details on this one nails it in all the right ways. All the other goodies on the car make it easy to love, including the front air dam, cowl induction hood, and ducktail spoiler that always finishes these cars with a flourish. And while this one can impress you from across a show field, don't forget to check out the details. Everything from the pinstripes on the fenders to the way the body panels hang with precision tell you someone really scrutinized every inch of the restoration.
The upgrade to the deluxe houndstooth cloth interior is beautifully finished and shows off this particular Camaro's luxury/performance mission. After all, nothing looks cooler than a black and white exterior color scheme that's continues inside. The bucket seats feel fresh, and so do the door panels, headliner, and carpeting. The total package is like a time warp back to 1969 where all the essentials feel factory correct and quite new. In fact, even the correct AM/FM radio is still cranking out tunes how's that for details! Beautiful wood grained appliques on the center console match the lower dash. But these kinds of details are often missed because everyone's attention usually gravitates to the bright shifter and the iconic quad gauge package ahead of it. The only noticeable modern upgrade is a nice wood and chrome steering wheel with Chevy's bow tie etched in the center (it lets you take better advantage of the power steering.) And beyond that you have the correct and clear set AC gauges, with the large speedo and important tach.
While this is a number-matching 327 cubic-inch small block V8, you can take one look at it and know something more sinister is going on under the hood. The motor has been upgraded for both show and go, and your first indication is the shine it radiates. With the serious investment in polished components we dare you to find another piece that could look brighter. And the only thing that can outshine the appearance is this V8's substance. It has go-fast goodies that include an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, hi-rise performance intake, Mallory distributor, and long tube headers. And Chevy people will particularly take note of the diaphragm on the air topper that means this legitimately breaths cooler air from the cowl induction hood. It's a great power package, and you get to take full control of it with the four-speed manual transmission. As we hinted at before, take some time to look at the undercarriage photos. This lets you know that you will be putting a mirror under this Camaro at car shows. And while you're checking it out, don't forget to spot upgrades like the four-wheel disc brakes.
This is the kind of build that someone does as a labor of love, so they rarely leave that person's hands. This is your chance to skip all the hard work of a superior restoration, and go right to the all the acclaim. So if you want the best of everything, call today!
